Well made, heavy leather and stitching

The shoes fit fine on length and a bit snug on width. They seem to be very well made but heavy leather is used. They will require a significant amount of break in time and use of a good quality leather conditioner to loosen them up. Ideally moccasins should be made from deerskin which balances comfort and wear resistance more effectively. Bottom line is that the shape is ideally suited to the tight pedal arrangement on my 911, so I will push through the break in period.Delivery from Amazon in 24 hrs - well done!

Perfect . . . for me

Gunnison Driver - Excellent product, as always! Looks great with jeans, shorts, or kakhis. My size (10D) fits as I'm accustomed to in this brand. Unlike some other brands, the toe-box is properly snug without being overly tight, and the heel fits perfectly. This classic shoe looks exactly as shown in Amazon's listing. Perfect Cole-Haan proportions, especially the low vamp - sockless is THE way to go with these. The moc-toe stitching rubs the toes just a bit (my knarly toes are to blame), as does the heel stitching on the left shoe. A thorough break-in should fix both those issues. The color is exactly the dark caramel color I wanted, and the overall comfort, fit and appearance is without equal. I've owned them for 1-day, so durability is an unknown. But, at the price I paid, and with Amazon's fast order fulfillment, these shoes are a true bargain. If, like me, you're a Cole-Haan purist, you gotta have these!NOTE -If you don't find this review helpful, please leave a comment and tell me why. If for some reason you simply don't like it, I challenge you to write a better one.

Tight on delivery, but breaks in nicely and is very comfortable.

Note: the sizing ratings are for after the shoe is broken in somewhat. When they arrived, they felt quite narrow, especially across the ball of my foot. I was a little apprehensive, because normally I wear an 11.5 E, and that size is not available. However, after wearing the shoes a couple of days, they have widened considerably, and now fit very well, not too loose or too long. The only caution I would have is that the nubs on the sole are very tall, and the shoe has essentially zero lateral support, so it is quite easy to have the heel sole catch on something or slip sideways and twist your ankle when walking. As a driving shoe, they're excellent, great grip on the pedals, even for a manual-transmission car, light and soft so they don't feel too cumbersome or bulky, and the heel nubs provide enough grip so your feet don't slide unexpectedly during shifting or sudden braking. I recommend wearing with the very low no-show socks that cover just your toes and heel. The shoe doesn't really have enough ventilation (not even perforated soles) so going with no socks gets sticky.
