The cost of resoling is the same price as a new pair these days. I sought out a shoe I can replace every year. These fit the bill. $129 isn’t a bad deal.It is very had to find an authentic cap toe Oxford. Nowadays it seems every lace up is considered an Oxford. The build quality is great (For a rubber sole). The leather is okay quality. The stitching is well done. Just what you'd expect from the brand. I laced the shoes properly as you can see in the photos. The last style is definitely American. Still a great looking shoe built for a business professional.I can’t stand comfort soles. However, these weren’t too bad. I still removed them (Like I do in all of my shoes). I feel more planted to the ground (Like a traditionally built shoe). These shoes could use a leather insole, but for the price…. The step is good. Love the grip on the soles. It raises the shoe off the ground. Which I kinda like. Does very good on wet floors.I usually buy wides. That wasn’t an option. However, there is lot of room in the toe box. With and without the insoles. My wife thought they were wides. The fit is amazing. My feet are 10.6 and I purchased 11s.Hope this helps. I am 6 months in to this review. I wear these 5 DAYS a week. SEE MY WEAR PHOTOS. I will be purchasing a more pairs before they get discontinued (Like all good things). These are definitely nice. Very comparable to $300 shoes aesthetically. These will not be replacing my good shoes anytime soon. These vamp wears terribly, but the cap remains in good shape. That’s all that matters. Other than that, like all rubber soles, they can get dirty and tough to clean. The wife says these are nice. Complements are there.
