These shoes are so comfortable. No break in needed. I wore them two days straight with no issues.
For a pair of dress shoes that are occasionally worn, I'm happy with these. They look nice and Cole Haan seems to be a solid mid-level brand of shoe. They aren't high end or even mid-high end in my opinion, but if you need a reasonably priced pair of shoes that won't fall apart after wearing them a few times, they are a solid option. These have a nice sole that isn't slippery. The leather(ish?) uppers look nice and polish up pretty well. The laces are good enough you don't have to replace them right away. They have a fair amount of cushioning, but if I was wearing these daily, I'd want something nicer or a set of more supporting insoles.

Was actually surprised It was a real Co Han. It is pretty comfortable as far as dress shoes go, I wouldn't walk or stand in hours but is is definitely comfortable and durable, good fit to size as well.
You know what you're getting with Cole Haan, so it's no surprise these shoes look great and feel comfortable right away. They are leather-lined so you can slip in and out easily. The soles are innovative - not smooth and slippery like leather (ugh) but rather textured, almost like a walking shoe but with a low profile, so they're non-slip, and you can't tell unless you turn them over that they're not formal style. Very clever, and practical.
