Great shoes overall, but not flawless

I want to start off by saying these shoes are overall very well put together. The leather is of good quality and feels great to touch. The cushioning and fitment it right on target and spot on. I found that these look great with both business casual and blue jeans. These are also pretty lightweight compared to other similar shoes I have which I feel would make these great for travel.Now let me be very picky, particularly at this price point. These are not cheap shoes and in this price range there are a lot of great options, even at a hundred dollars less. For shoes that are not all leather and use much cheaper glue/foam-based sole construction I really expect them to be nearly perfect at this price point. The pair I received were not. As pictured, there is a black thread that was caught in the process of attaching the soles. Yes, I acknowledge this is being extremely nitpicky, but again at this price point I feel it needs to be called out. This should have been caught by QC and trimmed.The one other item to call out is these are not leather lined. A smooth synthetic material was used that I’m pretty confident will be the first thing that wears outs in these shoes, especially around the heel. I think using this material is OK in some areas to help reduce weight and heat, but around the heal in particular that really needs to be made of a better wearing material, again especially at this price point.I do like these shoes and I think style-wise they are very versatile and will work in most casual, business and even formal situations. They fit very well and the comfort is there for all day use. The only reason I can’t give them 5-stars is the QC miss on my pair and the heel lining material for this price point.

Great leather shoes!

These are very nice leather shoes. I rarely need to dress up, but when I do I like to have stylish shoes to go with my suit. While I normally wear black shoes, I needed some brown shoes to go with an outfit and these fit the bill just right. They are lightweight and comfortable, I can wear them all day. They fit great. I'm very pleased with these shoes.

Look great and feel better dress shoes!

I have been wearing these shoes since the day I got them and I am impressed to say the least. Walking on these you can immediately feel the amount of cushion and throughout the day the fatigue for my feet is greatly reduced. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn and that includes tennis shoes or casual footwear other than slides. They look amazing and the thin shoelaces are very nice. Not sure what else I can add other than I wish they came in a greater variety of colors to buy more. The value is only felt after wearing them. I have purchased cheaper shoes that looked similar, but their support for your feet is no where close to these. I am not a person that is attracted to brand names, but these make me want to buy more cole haan footwear.
