I like these classic comfortable sandals. I needed to replace a pair that had lived its life and these were it. Cole Haan is a brand that I enjoy for quality, style, and the color is so neutral. They do not look cheap, just slip them on and comfort all day for running errands, for casual work, for long touring of islands... so depending on what life holds.
These shoes are fabulous and so comfortable! I wore them all through Paris this summer. Excellent quality and rich color. Lots of holes on the straps to be very adjustable. I received no blisters even after the first wear. Very flat but surprisingly comfy walking around on cobblestone and uneven sidewalks.
I had to replace similar Cole Haans that I had been wearing for over a decade regularly. They had outlived many more expensive shoes. The best thing about these is the padding, high quality leather and arch support. You can wear these for hours walking with no blisters right out of the box. They can be dressed up or down.
I’m disappointed that these Cole Haan Flynn sandals are made of mostly synthetic manmade materials instead of real leather. I almost sent them back because these just aren’t the quality I associate with Cole Haan. The only real leather appears to be the skinny buckle strap and a thin layer on top of the two bands across the sandals. The lining under the bands is manmade plastic and so are the insoles. The outer soles are manmade too (which I expected). I much prefer the comfort of real leather against my feet; plastic feels sticky and warm, and it can give me blisters if I walk much.Still, I kept these sandals as I needed a flat sandal and they felt comfortable right away as to sizing and fit. I’ve ended up using these for daily wear in hot weather when I’m just driving from place to place and am not walking a lot. They look basic but nice enough with jeans, capris and dresses. These fit as expected for Cole Haan sandals, which are basically true to size but just slightly roomier than some brands. That’s better for me as I wear a 10 in these but one foot is a 10 and the other closer to 10.5.It’s really too bad as these would have been great for all day outings if it weren’t for all the plastic. They are a very flat style without padding or arch support, but I like sandals that feel as close to being barefoot as possible. I’ll stick with my Arche sandals when I’ll be doing a fair amount of walking as the leather materials are superior and they do have some support. I didn’t need to break in these Flynn sandals, but the lack of real leather against my feet bugs me and I’d rate them just 3 stars based on materials. I’m rating them higher as I’ve worn them often for short outings like going out to breakfast and the $67 price is reasonable (but I wouldn’t pay full retail). 4 stars. Made in India.
Could these sandals get any cuter? Heels are no longer my friend, so I needed some classy sandals that could be dressed up or down, and these surpassed my expectations. I’m between a 7-7 1/2 and the 7 fit perfect. Plenty of room across the toes, which can sometimes rub and fit tight. I also bought one of the straw woven clutches on this site for an evening out when I don’t need to carry a purse. Looks great together!
I purchased these a few years ago at a Cole Haan outlet in Las Vegas and was bummed when they wore out, as I wore them almost daily. They are extremely comfortable and run true to size. I'm very happy that I could find them again here on Amazon at such a good price and hope that I can find my size in the black, too. My original sandals were the gold and cognac color, which I loved, but I bought the solid cognac this time and am very happy with them.
I was really excited to try these sandals since I’ve been searching for real leather options, but they didn’t quite meet my expectations. While they look cute from the side, I didn’t love how they looked when I looked straight down at my feet—it just wasn’t as flattering as I hoped.I also wasn’t 100% confident in walking in them for a long period of time. They felt a bit heavy and clumsy, and I was hoping for something sleeker and more feminine. Given that these are on the expensive side, I wanted to make sure I truly loved them. I tried them on a couple of times to be sure, but ultimately decided to return them. The quality seems good, but they just weren’t the right match for me.
