Comfortable, stylish, good quality
Purchased these for a trip to Italy in March. Due to a lot of walking, they were not my primary footwear-I alternated with leather city oxford sneakers. I did wear these on shorter excursions, walking to dinner on cobblestone, uneven & sometimes wet streets in Florence/Tuscany. I also wore on some days with intermittent rain & they held up well. No issues with traction. My feet were never sore, no blisters. The low heel is a necessity on Italian streets.They fit true to size even with socks. The burgundy color looked stylish. I own several pairs of Cole Haan & have never been disappointed.I had bunion surgery over 10 yrs. ago & they were about 80% corrected so I still am conscientious with footwear that has stitching or other features that could rub. These boots did not bother my bunion area or toes at all. I did "break" these in prior to the trip.I used waterproof spray & also brought a shoehorn with me for easing into them.

Runs small
Good quality, good color, but runs small. I bought a half size up based on other reviews. It just fit without socks, so I suggest a full size or even a size and a half up if you like boots a little looser like I do.

Stiff boots
Beautiful color and style but unfortunately the suede material which I expected to be soft was so stiff that I could hardly get them on (the heel just wouldn’t budge). I tried to walk around in them at home hoping they would relax a bit since they are the look I have been wanting but had to return as they are far too uncomfortable to wear.

Beautiful Boot
Fantastic boot, perfect heel height, high quality leather and workmanship. I have a medium width foot, but with very low volume and a narrow heel. Finding shoes that fit and do not slip in the heel is challenging. Unfortunately, I was between sizes in this shoe. Putting an insole in the larger size did not help with the excessive heel slippage. The search continues...

Soft and comfortable.

Couldn’t even get my foot in them
I usually love Cole Haan shoes. I was due for a new pair of boots, so I was sure Cole Haan boots would be worth the splurge. I was very disappointed when they arrived. The zipper placement is awkward and I couldn’t even get my foot in them without really struggling and bending the back part of the shoe. Once on, my foot fit fine but they were very uncomfortable. Nothing at all like other shoes I have from the brand. I immediately returned these and bought a $10 pair from Kohls on clearance instead that fit better.
