Not meant for wide feet
The boots looked very nice but they are not meant for wide feet. I usually wear a 10 or 10.5 in shoes and 11 in boots, but I could not zip them up past the arch on my foot.

Fabulous pair of boots!
These really impressed when I unboxed them. I love a tall boot but I haven't had any in quite some time so I've been adding a few different styles and colors over the last several months. The gorgeous burgundy color from this chunky but understated pair is the perfect finish to my existing neutrals.the tall shaft is just the right height. I do have shorter legs and I'm 5'4" so just bear that in mind. I've included photos to show how they look on me to give you a feel of the proportions.They are wide enough though not loose on me -- I'd put them at a mid-range calf circumference. The zipper is smooth and is covered on the inside to keep it from biting (either your leg or a pair of tights) when you zip it up.The foot construction feels really comfortable as well. There isn't a lot of support which I find is the case for most boots, so if you have a really particular foot or high arches, you may want to slide in a supportive insole. These are not tight and don't pinch or squeeze anywhere, while still feeling like a TTS and secure fit, so there feels like enough room for a not-too-bulky insole if needed.I have wide ish feet and these are so so comfy for me, no pressure anywhere. I do find with my higher insteps and wider feet that some shoes can constrict around the middle like a tight band (and my feet go to sleep), or squeeze on the sides around the toe box making it tough to walk or stand for too long. I haven't had any of that here. Again, not a lot of support but also no pain points where I typically experience them, so for me that's a win.The construction is nice, good quality and nice materials and stitching for the price point. The color is gorgeous, too. The burgundy really looks like it, and not just a reddish brown. The soles are a cool, boxy platform, with a square block heel and a soft square toe. They look and feel on-trend without being dated in a few years.Excellent buy and I'm so excited to have these for fall.

Nice, but you may have to size down...
I ordered a 9.5, but found these boots to be a bit roomy with a fit that is more like a size 10. I haven't tried them with thicker socks, which may make a difference. But I'm not a fan of the current roominess as it doesn't give my arch the proper support, and my foot moves around too much when I walk. One star deducted for the sizing issue. That aside, the covered, uniquely-shaped, block, platform heel puts me in the mindset of the late 1970's, which is always a stylish option for skirts and jeans in my book. The leather is faux, but soft, and the boots are constructed well with precise stitching, which makes the them look pricier than they are. For those with larger calves, there is an elastic extention panel at the top. Please keep in mind the potential size difference when ordering. ALICIA APPROVED.
