We love these boots. They are incredibly warm and have a nice lace up design of snow can get in. My son is excited to wear these because while he has very large feet, they don’t look like they are giant! Very warm though.
warm and good traction in minnesota snow, son is very hapyy to get surprise birthday gift, he wears them to work cold floor , no more cold tennesis shoes lo, very tall size 16, hard to find , great grip from soles..
These boots saved the day when my son decided to go hiking on wet and muddy trails in upstate NY. They do equally well in the ice and snow The boots are very comfortable, although I would have ordered at least a half size larger to accommodate a thicker sock. These are fine with thin socks but would be too tight with thick socks.
Agree with recommendation to size up. Run small. Husband typically a size 10, purchased 11.5 and glad I did . Fit well with medium weight socks, tried out first time blowing snow for few hours and he says they are warm and comfortable, and feet stay dry. His only slight complaint is the lack of hooks for laces which make it easier to snug up but for the price that’s a minor issue, but it is why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars
All I can say is thank you for actually standing by your claims to be water proof warm winter boots probably the best for the money. I do snow removal for alot of elderly people and some I cant always use my plow and have to do by hand so I am outside for 6 plus hours depending on the snow levels. My feet never got remotely cold.
Great boots! Easy off and on. They keep your feet warm and dry. I added some Yak-Trax for extra stability on ice.
Well my wife bought these boots for me as a Christmas present, I have other Columbia hiking boots I’ve been buying for years so she took the size directly off those Columbia boots and ordered these boots. Well today I tried them on, not with winter socks like you’d think someone would wear for winter boots but just regular daily wear socks. Well by the time I wedged my foot in these things I knew something was way off. My toes were mashed against the front of the boot and the sides of my feet were being squeezed together. Ok, I stand up and NOPE! No point in even attempting a step. OBVIOUSLY these are sized extremely small. The label says US 11W but also says EU44 which is much closer to 9.5-10 US. That seems to be a more accurate sizing. So I go back to do an exchange for the next size up and SURPRISE! None available in a larger size. So next option is get the boot in a different color, well there’s only one option and the next size up is over $30 more. So for the inconvenience of ordering Columbia boots in the exact same size of the Columbia boots I have now I get to return these boots and either pay $30 for the exact same boot in a larger size in a different color or spend the time to return these and have no boots. Good thing we’re getting 6-10 inches of snow tonight. These are going BACK and Columbia you lost a good customer!
