Best walking shoes I’ve ever owned: comfortable, great fit (true to size), sturdy, stable and lightweight. After a couple of walks the grip of the soles on wet surfaces is so much better, that’s the only part of the shoes that need to break in.
This is the first pair of Columbia shoes I have purchased. I was looking for a pair of walking shoes that were not too heavy and geared towards running which are usually very light with poor life spans. However, upon opening the box and trying them on, they are one of the best and comfortable shoes. The shoe fits perfect, and is very comfortable with what seems to be adequate arch support. The tread is very rigid and sticks to the ground like a set of new tires. The shoe is also ligher weight and was extremely comfortable out of the box without any breaking in needed. I definitely keep my out for more of the Columbia brand shoes especially at under $50. Great value and very happy thus far.
Bought these shoes for my husband. He likes a waterproof shoe for working outdoors when it's wet. He loves them and said they seem to be very comfortable. Hopefully they keep his feet dry.
They are very comfortable, have excellent traction and an overall very good shoe for its intended purpose. Slightly wider than I am accoustomed to.

Great value for your money. The size 13 fit perfect on my husband. This hiking shoe is very comfortable and durable for his hike. He loved the style and quality of the shoe. He's definitely happy with his choice. I highly recommend.
I've been wearing these everyday for 2 weeks. They were stiff at first, especially around the ankles but they feel great now. Great traction. I like the hard soles. Not as heavy as hiking boots but heavier than trail running shoes. Great mid-weight shoes.
