Highly recommended!
Spectacular shoes. So good in fact that I wear them almost every day and all day. Light weight, comfortable, warm but not hot, great to walk in. Can't say enough about how glad I am to have bought these shoes!

Three month update:Though it's certainly not waterproof it does a decent job of remaining water free. And it dries relatively quickly once wet. Otherwise, this shoe has already had a tremendous amount of use these past three months and all I have is praise for its apparent durability and ability to keep my feet warm in cold conditions as low as 10 degrees F.And, of course, I cannot resist again commenting how the gold trim at the very upper perimeter where my foot enters the shoe was their version of a bad joke. Who was that for? It's not only juvenile, it ruins styling continuity of the entire shoe. OK, 'nuff said about that. Sheesh...Original post:I was ready to spend nearly twice the price for insulated hiking boots before considering this brand and model. And though I’ve been a size 10.5 for decades, it took receiving one and testing it before realizing I needed to send it back for size 11 in order to discover it’s a good fit in many ways. But I’ll begin with my negatives:1) whoever decided the sparkly gold colored “glam” themed inner lining that bleeds up to and including the upper “tongue” got away with a bad joke. Seriously, you have here a relatively plain outer (throughout) shoe styling where, once you open the box and glance inside the shoe, you discover their designer’s gaudy load non-sequitur joke of a liner design. Idiotic IMHO.2) it’s a good thing the bottom insole can be easily removed and replaced with something more substantial because it’s worthless. This is another reason to consider patience when deciding on shoe size as I suspect it’s worth anticipating this brand and/or model appears to trend smaller than others. Even before considering insole comfort on my first ordered size 10.5 pair I realized it was already wayyyy too small where in my new 11’s it’s all good.As for the plusses:Surprisingly comfortable. I broke them in on my treadmill as a control test for the first three days at :45 minutes of 15 degree inclined walking per day with zero discomfort. After three subsequent outdoor trail hiking my feet were both warm and happy. They’re good when it comes to conveying ground conditions as I walk. And the bottom soles appear sturdy and, apparently, long lasting. We’ll see.My only suggestion is to be sure your socks don’t bunch up inside the shoe in any way at all and you’re good.
Big fan of all Columbia Omni heat products. These boots didn't disappoint. Relatively comfortable and kept my feet warm and dry.
These are the right balance of bulk and comfort. Not too big and nice but nice and sturdy. They are super warm and have a great traction sole.
This boots would be absolutely perfect for anyone who works partially outside during the winter but they need to be warmer!!
These are great in any situation. The laces are a bit thin but he doesn't mind. If they ever fail he'll just replace them, no biggie. They are pretty flashy inside as they are shiney gold but you can't see that while wearing. I believe that material is why they work so good.
I bought to my daughter, she loved it! It’s comfortable and and easy to put on!
