Breathable And Comfortable

As I get older, trying to live a healthy lifestyle becomes more and more important. Therefore, I try to stick to my exercise regimen. And, while exercising, I like to wear comfortable gear. That includes my footwear. So, when I got the opportunity to get this Columbia men's running shoe, I thought I'd try them out. I liked the feel, from the first time I put them on. The upper is a stretchable, breathable mesh, while its sole is made of rubber, with a tread pattern that is advertised as providing advanced traction. The interior cushioning is comfortable, and eco-friendly, consisting of 20% recycled materials. Lastly, though they are not advertised as being hands-free slip-on, I have noticed that if I gently place my foot in, it allows me to push through, without the back collapsing. That is a pleasant surprise.

Stylish Daily Wear, But Not Quite a True Running Shoe

Columbia's Konos Swift Running Shoes deliver impressive visual appeal with their very cool burnt orange and dark pumpkin colorway, accented by light streaks. (Although, does the color really need to be called "Sea Salt"? ;-) ). The bright white outer sole creates a striking contrast like Hoka's popular aesthetic, but with Columbia's distinctive take. (And name printed in large letters along the side).Sizing is spot-on - as someone who fluctuates between 11 and 11.5, these 11s fit perfectly right out of the box. The styling makes these shoes conversation starters without crossing into overly flamboyant land, making them versatile enough for regular wear with various outfits.I'm just not sure about their classification as running footwear. The relatively stiff construction lacks the flexibility I'd expect from dedicated running shoes, limiting their performance for serious runners. This rigidity might actually make them better suited for trail environments where additional structure is beneficial. I actually like that feel a lot for everyday sneakers, but not for my running shoes. In reality, these work best as stylish everyday kicks rather than performance running shoes. That's where the "value proposition" becomes questionable - at this price point, dedicated runners would likely find better options from specialized brands like Brooks or Saucony. If you're primarily seeking eye-catching casual footwear and the running capabilities are secondary, these Columbia shoes no doubt deliver on style and support for daily wear.

Comfortable running shoe

I've been wearing these for a while, mostly on a treadmill but also for occasional walks and jogs. The sizing is perfect. The soles have nice cushioning. They're light, but durable. I prefer the thicker soles that these have versus the thinner soles on my other pair. My feet just feel less fatigued. The pricing is reasonable in comparison to similar brands.

Great Support & Comfort for Walking – True to Size and Well-Cushioned

I’m not a runner, but I walk an average of 14,000 steps per day. Because of this, I need shoes with excellent support and strong shock absorption to help reduce discomfort in my feet and knees. I decided to try a pair of running shoes, hoping they would provide the cushioning and stability I need. After wearing these daily for a couple of weeks, I’m happy to say they have met my expectations. They are comfortable, provide great support, and help minimize impact while walking. Additionally, they are true to size and fit me perfectly in my usual size.Overall, I’m very pleased with these shoes and would recommend them to others looking for a supportive and well-cushioned option for walking. However, since I don’t run, I can’t speak to their performance for running.

Light and easy to take off

I am very impressed by these sneakers. They are similar to some New Balance sneakers I use because you can use them all day. They are very light, which is probably what I like about them best. I am not a huge fan of the tongue. At least in my experience, when you lace the strings, it tends to get tight around the top of your foot. I'll keep toying around with it, trying to find the best way to tie them. Also, they tend to not support your ankles as much as most New Balance shoes does. All in all, I am definitely adding this to my daily drivers that I use for shoes. This is worth a try.

Wonderful shoes.

I recently got these Columbia shoes and I have been extremely impressed with their quality and comfort. The shoes are stylish, versatile, and perfect for everyday wear. The sizing was spot on and they fit like a glove right out of the box. The cushioned insoles provide excellent support and make them great for all-day wear. Additionally, the shoes are also very durable, holding up well to regular use. Whether I'm running errands or going on an outside adventure, these shoes have quickly become my go-to footwear choice. Overall, I highly recommend these Columbia shoes to anyone looking for a high-quality, reliable shoe option for casual activities.

Impressed

I've never owned a pair of Columbia shoes so I didn't know what to expect. They are surprisingly comfortable. I love everything about them and the insoles are very good. Are they as good as my $150 Saucony running shoes? No they are not but they are not the same price either. They are great for running errands and working out and. I've used them on a treadmill and even jogged in them. They're a step down from my saucony's but for what they are I'm super impressed. The only thing I did not like about them is the spacing between the shoestring holes. They are farther apart than I would prefer as this allows the tongue to have a little more play. I counted this by making sure the shoe strings were pulled tight along the entire top of the shoe. But other than that I'm impressed.
