Columbia men's konos Out Dry Trail Sneakers
They have good cushion and rebound plus the advantage of being water proof. They did take wearing around the house a few times for ten minutes at a time to let my feet get used to the way they flex because my old sneakers were as flexible as a rubber band and these have some stability or structure in the midfoot which took wearing them a few times to adjust to. The forefoot is flexing really well just not as easy as a rubber band. My feet seemed to have changed a little because the three prior sneakers that I tried out were too short. So I ordered these in 11.5 u.s. instead of the 11 u.s. that I used to order and they fit just right. They are really good at walking on the trails even the large gravel felt good and cushioned under my feet. I believe these Columbia Konos shoes are a great pair of trail sneakers.

Truly waterproof in rain or wet grass and soles are very grippy.
Originally thought these were too snug and was going to return them. However, since my toes had plenty of wiggle room I figured I should actually wear them for a walk. To my surprise, these are very comfortable and are definitely waterproof. I suspect these will be a bit hot in the summer, but now that it's rainy season these will be my dog walking and golfing shoes. The soles are very grippy so I think they'll be excellent for both. I'm considering getting a spare pair now.
