This shoes is comfortable. Glad I didn’t have to spend so much
These Columbia hiking boots fit me perfectly, just like my size 10 sneakers from other popular brands; they're neither tight nor loose. These Columbia hiking shoes offer a perfect blend of lightweight comfort and sturdy support, making them ideal for both work and outdoor use.The Omni-Grip soles keep you steady on gravel while still feeling smooth on pavement. With Techlite cushioning, they feel comfortable right away and need little break-in time. They also keep your feet dry in wet conditions, fit true to size, and feel durable without being too bulky.Given my experience with Columbia products, I've found their sturdy construction to be reliable, providing excellent value for the money, and their designs are pretty stylish.
I have had mid boots of this style before (not from Columbia), and I have been in need of a pair lately. Saw these, thought they looked good, figured I would give them a try.Sizing is pretty good. I am a true 11.5, but in some brands a wide is a slightly better fit. I don't believe I have owned Columbia mids like this before, so sizing was a bit of a guess. The midsole fit is good and very comfortable. I think if wide sizing was available it could have provided a slightly better fit, but since I am on the edge this isn't a problem for me. Length is spot on. Toe box is a touch snug, but I think this is common for this style. After a bit more break-in I expect these to be a touch more comfortable, but they are pretty darn comfortable even now.Coloring is good and the look is nice - similar in appearance to other popular name brands I have worn in the past. The sole is grippy, maybe a bit TOO much as it squeaks against my hard floors. I hope this is not an indicator of any overly soft rubber sole that will wear out quickly. Only time will tell. All in all, I am quite pleased with these. They were just what I was looking for and turn out to be a good comfortable fit site unseen. And with Columbia, I expect them to last a while also.(Apologies the pictures are not great - my phone camera appears to have picked up a little motion blur.)
Overall, this is a sturdy, comfortable, and well constructed pair of shoes. The soles have good grip, and I appreciate that they are weatherproof. I like the color and red laces. If you have wide feet or wear a half size, be sure to size up. They are a bit narrow, and I could not have fit my normal size. I absolutely needed to size up, and I'm grateful I did. Expensive but nice shoes! Thank you!
These things are awesome. They always look sharp, they keep the feet warm and dry, and they are comfortable for wearing all day long. When I was a teen, these were my everyday shoes. It's nice to see their fit and their quality haven't changed at all. These things are rugged and can take quite a bit of use, and deal well with water, though after a while, they'll need to be re-waterproofed.
These are nice, supportive, yet lightweight Columbia hiking boots. They run true to size and look as great as they feel. These are listed on Amazon at $100, though I see them on sale on Columbia’s website for $77. So if you can find them on sale in your size-awesome. If not, they are still worth the $100 price tag. Columbia has been a solid hiking/camping outfitter for many, many years. I guess they aren’t “trending” now, but the quality and reputation remain the same. I love these. They arrived quickly and in pristine condition, just as I would expect.
