Impresses everywhere.
I replaced all my shoes at once with three different orders. These were the cheapest (lowest price) of the three. But not the worst performing of the three. This is a killer shoe for the price. Very comfortable out of the box. I mean we'll above the average in comfort. Enough for me to say wow. True to size. Well constructed and feels durable, rugged. Excellent grip on the various floors I've tested it on. Not waterproof so not the best choice for rainy days or snowy mountains. But, for dry climates and for temperatures ranging from 45 degrees F up to about 80 this shoe is perfect. A little too hot for temperatures past that point. I think for the price this shoe can't be beat.

Great wearing shoes-2nd pair
I like the style of shoe and the fit is comfortable. This is actually my second pair. They do last a long time! Priced right, too. 😁

Solid hiking shoe
Picked these up to retire my old broken down cross trainers I used while hiking. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but the first time out these fit amazingly well, and worked like a charm. They are light weight, fit true to size, and gripped well on loose dirt and debris on the trail. The heel was snug, and the toebox provided a fair amount of flex. Wasn't quite expecting that for a size 15.After a few hours hiking my feet were not as sore as they normally were, no blisters, and all done with no break in period. Definitely protected my toes from errant roots and nubs sticking out of the ground on the trail.Per usual I put a trimmed down ENGO Rectangle patch in both soles at the ball of my feet.Hopefully they hold up!

It's no Masochist
These resemble Montrail's classic Mountain Masochist running shoes. Heavier and softer (not unlike the reviewer), the uppers fit like Montrails and give a good ride on sideslopes (the downfall of most "trail running" shoes in actual mountains -- Altra, I'm looking at you).BUT the sole is weak compared to Gryptonite:Gone are the arch bars.Gone is the slab-like heel that wore evenly, no matter how much you pronate; it's replaced by a Merrill-like collection of spindly lugs seemingly designed to drastically limit the shoe's useful lifespan.Gone is the rock guard that's so protective you can safely ditch the insole; if there's a rock guard, it's a pliant one.Gone are the insanely aggressive lugs so useful for tracking garden soil in the house -- though in fairness, traction in the Wayfinder is GOOD on rocky and loose ground despite the wimpy looking low-relief lugs.TLDR; It's close enough to a Masochist to be worth every last penny. But it's no Masochist. What were you expecting in the era of skimpflation?Buy 'em and beat on 'em and be happy. That's all you can do.

Great product as expected.
Very comfortable and they fit as expected. I always like Columbia’s products and these were no exception. I got them as an everyday shoe whether it be walking in the store or taking the dogs for a walk.

Great shoe at a great price!
These shoes are very comfortable. The sole has nice grip to it and the price was great! They seem to be well made and if they last as long as my other Columbia shoes I own I will be very happy although I must say I'm pretty happy now!

Most versatile shoe I have owned, great for basketball
I bought this shoe because I wanted to own less shoes. Instead of shoes for the office, another pair of shoes for hiking, and another for basketball, these shoes work great for all purposes. They have great grip on the winter ground in Boston, on the trail, and on the court. I have played some of my best basketball in these shoes, both indoors and outdoors. After 11 months, the tread it almost gone, but I am happy with their longevity given how much I've used them. Am thinking about buying another pair when my current ones are worn out.
