I go through shoes fast... THESE hold up
I'm partial to Merrell but I figured I'd give these a try as my usual was put of stock. I have orthotic insoles... Lemme tell you, they fit great, the traction is perfect for hiking. They keep your feet warm and dry and the quality of the material surpassed my expectations. The style is ehh okay, but I don't expect pretty in hiking shoes. These are great and I would buy again. They've held up for quite a while and I'm hard on shoes.

Comfortable and has great traction
First time wearing them I went on a short hike. Dry terrain, moderate climb and the shoes were completely comfortable. No chaffing or pinch points. Arrived at waterfall and shoes were amazing for rock climbing massive boulders and loose gravel paths. A couple of times I literally felt the shoes gripping and preventing slippage. Then as I got to where the mist was falling, performed very well on slick surface. One foot went in and out of the water and my foot felt dry for the hike back. Again no chaffing or pinching anywhere. The shoes still look and feel new (thought they would show all the scratches and moisture) and most importantly; my feet felt amazing. Only time I've ever had zero feet issues after a hike! Best hiking shoe I've ever owned. And I've owned several from low end to high end. Note: I also wore high end performance socks that include arch support and moisture repellant.

Great for hikes!
Took these shoes to a hike during a rainier day. They’re super comfortable, not heavy, and sturdy with great traction. They’re not fully waterproof though, so if you think you’ll need to step in deep puddles these are not the shoe. They will be waterproof up to the bottom half of the shoe but if water reaches above that halfway point you will start to feel the moisture inside. Other than that though great shoe for your buck!

I am always on the quest for comfortable shoes, having plantar fasciitis and now a new neuroma along with heel spur, I was incredibly surprised that this hiking shoe would be easy for me to wear and not hurt my feet. They are hiking shoes but I don't hike, I walk...because now with these shoes I can. They are comfortable, supportive, good looking shoes you can wear with dress jeans or pants. I am very happy with my hiking shoes and buying another pair right now!

Great price for Hiking shoes
I was looking at 4 different hiking shoes including lululemon (which I loved). I chose these because they are practical. Although the lululemon hiking shoes were very aesthetically pleasing, I don’t want to have to keep cleaning them. Hiking isn’t glamorous.. and I recommend getting an ugly color shoe because I’ll just be hosing them off in my backyard after my muddy/wet hikes.These are the perfect shoes, comfortable and affordable, I recommend.

They last a long time.
Had these for awhile. They're very sturdy. For some reason, they trigger the scanner at airport security. Just whwn we thought we no longer had to take off our shoes.
