Good buy!

Super cute! Very comfortable, used for a long day of trails and had no issues. Much more toe box room than other trail shoe brands. Could fit my thicker socks with no tight issues. Not waterproof. Great quality.

Happy, happy wife!

I got these Columbia Women's Strata Trail Low Hiking Shoe for my spouse in addition to other birthday gifts. She found them to be stylish (my wife is very selective) she also found them very comfortable. Although It's too soon to tell just how comfortable they are at this time. First impressions, she liked the appearance of the shoe and it's neutral color scheme. The shoe looks great, very stylish (my wife is very selective) she tried them on and thought them to be very comfortable. Regarding the size, they are true to size with some extra room to spare. My spouse describes they feel like a 5 Wide instead of a 5 Regular, but that's OK. My wife has a small foot, but she can always wear a slightly thicker sock. She stated the heal has plenty of support, the toe cap is put together well, not tight and the insole felt comfortable aswel, the eyelets appear well manufactured, the laces are long enough and look to be good quality. The shoe isn't heavy at all considering its rugged and well built appearance. Overall, I have a very happy wife! That's good enough for me. I gave the shoe 4 stars right now but I will update this rating upon her experience with the shoe progresses. It's too soon to tell just how comfortable or durable they are (the shoe hasn't been stressed yet) but I will update my review to reflect any changes after she puts a few miles on them, at this time. We are definitely keeping them.Thank you Columbia!

Perfect fit, great traction

These shoes are incredibly comfortable. I bought the wide so I could fit thick socks in. Definitely tons of room. They’re relatively lightweight for hiking shoe. On my first wear I did a few pretty steep hills (up and down) in very dry, loose dirt and they definitely helped with traction.

Excellent value for the cost!

Theses are great shoes, comfortable to wear, well made, and suitable for everyday walking as well as a hiking shoe. There are a wide variety of these shoes from which to choose and the price is very reasonable.

Highly recommend

Great shoe all around. They run wide because I have very wide feet and they fit great. Very comfortable and they’re cute. I’m actually buying a second pair to keep as a back up for when these wear out because I think they’ll hold up a while and by that time, they will have discontinued the style!

Lacks sufficient cushion which is painful, weirdly wide toe box.

The padding in these shoes isn't good, much too hard, the balls of my feet hurt after wearing them on a regular work day. They are also weirdly wide in the toe box for a regular shoe. I previously had the columbia Ivo trail shoes as my daily and travel/outdoor shoe which were awesome, and even my completely worn out pair is easier on my feet than these new shoes.
