Great hiking shoes, 2nd pair I've purchased of this brand. Great price, and they hold up to trail hiking. Sturdy and comfortable.
We just completed a 2-week European vacation in the fall, which meant a lot of rain. These shoes held up through it all, even standing puddles. They were easy to wipe clean when needed and barely look like I used them. I was worried that the soles were too inflexible, but I was happily proven wrong. These shoes were comfortable without making my feet too warm or too cramped.
Love these shoes, they are comfortable, easy to slide on even though they are not slide ons. They are durable and will last a long time. Also the best thing is they will not show the dirt.
These look nice, are well made and very comfortable. I only gave them 3 stars because I bought them for an Alaskan trip and they are listed as waterproof. I walked in the rain one day and ended up with damp shoes and wet socks. Unless the water seeped in around my ankle, I don't know how that would have happened with waterproof hiking shoes.
These shoes are surprisingly lightweight and comfortable. I wore them a couple hours at a time for three days before packing them for a trip. Then I hiked an average of five miles a day for over a week (including some very rocky terrain) with no problems at all.I wear a size 8 in Nike shoes and 8.5 in most dress shoes. I ordered these in 8.5. They have some extra room in the toe area but fit well if I pull the laces very tight and wear sensible thick socks.I don't find them to be completely waterproof; they're mesh and some moisture got through when I stepped directly in water. But they're reasonably water-resistant.
Went hiking in Costa Rica in the rain and these shoes were so comfortable and kept my feet dry. Thank you!
This is my third time ordering these shoes and I love them. The main thing I look for is the grip of the sole, and so many other trail shoes have little nubs that still leave you slipping and sliding, especially if the trail is gravelly. These protect me from that. They are true to size and go the distance. There is no 'break in' time, so I've never dealt with hot heels or soles. They also last, so they are a great value. Highly recommend!!
