Too much room for the big toe but overall a great shoe!
I'm very happy with this purchase and love these shoes! I was a bit nervous when I first got them and tried them on. I'm a 9.5 in women's and there is way too much space for the big toe and was bummed that may have to return them as it seemed the shoes were just too big. I've been on a few 5+ mile hikes over dirt, rocks, etc and I'm actually very surprised that despite the extra big toe wiggle room that the shoes are extremely comfortable! They give me a lot of peace of mind when climbing over sketchy areas that I'm not going to slip. My feet stay dry for the most part crossing deeper streams. Everything I could ask for in a shoe! Most importantly, my feet feel better after hikes compared to other shoes that I own.
