3 Month Review: Another "Tried & True" Work Shoe from Columbia
Just ordered my 2nd pair....im on my feet 12+ hours a day, im a contractor and trust me I put these shoes to the test...from hot roofs, trekking thru sand, ladders, kneeling, squatting you name it....again, Columbia kills it!! Instant Classic, i have no idea what these other reviewers are saying...too small? no way, sorry I have giant feet, I wear an 11 in Sorel, Merrell, Saucony, Brooks (those are my defaultos) and I've NEVER bought a shoe from Columbia in anything other than 10.5, again I wear an 11! My feet have been called ski's with high arches, normal to slightly wide, w/skinny ankles for my proportions. For the record, most tongues slide all around on me, or I have to lace shoes stupid tight, or they hurt my ingrown, or I get bouts of plantar fasciatis...NONE of that with the Landroamer!!!PROS:-I feel like a small footed cutie wearing a 10.5 not a giant 11-They feel like im walking on marshmallows, no heal pain or ingrown toenail rubbing- for MY foot-The tongue is super padded but it actually works. Doesn't rub or chafe and really helps when im on my knees or sitting on my feet-They're made from real materials including leather-They look cool like skate shoes from my youth when I was actually cool-They hold up, one whole season and nothings coming unglued, ripping or coming undone (thats common when im straying from my favorites trying new shoes)-Moderately waterproof, im not powerwashing in these but I can fill buckets of water and walk in the rain and not stress it-Price is sweet, id pay way more and often do for workshoesCONS-Not enough colors need more. the pink was dumb IMO but the black looked nice w/the gum bottoms making it look not so geriatric, old nanish the way all-black shoes usually look and i just ordered the tan so im jazzed-oh sometimes they come untied but I tie them using the loop on the tongue and it helps keep em tied.

My favorite shoes right now. They are comfortable, water proof and last a long time. I work at a job that requires me to be on my feet all day for 9.5 hours a day and they are still comfortable after 6 month of use. Just bought my second pair as a backup. They are no slip, last a long time and fit perfect to size. Great price for how long thwy last!

Well madr shoe for outdoors
These shoes are great for camping or outdoor use! I had to break them in a bit before taking them on our week long camp trip, and I am glad I did. The inside is really thick but comfortable. I could use a tad more arch support, but I wore them every day for 6 days and my feet didn't hurt. I would not use these for actual hiking shoes though. Not enough ankle support in my opinion. But great for around the campfire, and in the morning with the dew on the grass. My socks stayed dry! Shoes quality is well made. The laces are flat, so sometimes they came undone. I just double knotted them to fix the problem. Size was spot on for me. Order your normal size in shoe.

I bought these as work shoes. They're fairly comfortable as is, but there is no arch support, so I had to add some insoles, which makes them a bit tight on top - better that than the added pain in my feet. The laces aren't very good. No matter how tight I tie them, they tend to come untied a lot. Guess I'll wear these till I find a better option.

Extremely comfortable. I am a former biologist and assist with bird banding research when I can. This requires a lot of walking, standing, and going through various terrain. I've walked stretches of 7 to 11 miles in one day wearing these and my feet felt great during and after. They are a bit water resistant which is nice. With dew on the grass and small puddles my socks didn't get wet. I would not recommend submerging them.They are very sleek, durable, and lightweight. I am very happy with this purchase! Hopefully they last a while!
