Perfect for my needs
I’m very happy with these. I was looking for a pair of boots that I could use at the barn that wouldn’t attract hay and shavings, so no fur or fleece at the top. I wanted warm, waterproof, good traction and comfortable with some breathability. These have it all! I’m in between size 9.5-10 but since reviewers said they run small, I went with 10. They are the perfect width but a tad long. I’m not sure the 9.5 would have been better or not so I kept the 10’s. I added an extra 3/4 insert and that did the trick. I’m sure thicker inserts or socks would have been good, too, but I don’t need them, even in 20 degrees.The tan boots (tan with black and blue laces) also come with tan laces if you don’t want the blue ones.

Warm, cute, and grip well!
These boots are really nice. I wear a size 8 and didn't size up, which I'm glad bc they fit well with or without thick socks. They’re also super warm on the inside without feeling bulky, and so far I haven’t slipped at all. I haven’t had much ice yet, but they grip the ground really well and feel stable when walking.They’re also way cuter than I expected for winter boots and go with multiple outfits. I already wear these over my other boots. So happy with this purchase 😎

If Combat Boots Were Made For Winter
I've only done errands for a day in these. As someone who had a hard time not wearing Doc Martens all winter, these boots are FANTASTIC. Got the same size I buy in Docs, they go up my leg an inch higher and are a little more snug than my Docs but theyre warm and waterproof enough to not need thick socks. I'm between skinny & wide feet and so far im not uncomfortable, but someone with wide feet might be. The rubber sole almost like winter-tire sticky so i dont think I'll slip too easily. Over 1in of shock absorbing foam/rubber material on top of that so very comfy to walk in. More roll-proof in the ankle area than my Docs are, but not digging into my ankles when I walk. Toe area is a little bit reinforced so its tough enough to kick chunks of ice without hurting myself. All in all great find for someone who doesnt want to give up the combat boot look for winter

Not the warmest for playing in snow
I purchased these for a warm boot to play in the snow with my kids. I wore them with thick socks. The lining does not feel very thick, especially on top of the foot. After about 15-20 mins of playing in deep snow on a 20 degree day in WI the top of my foot started feeling cool. Not cold, but if I had stayed out longer I think I would’ve started feeling cold. They’re very comfortable, and I like the look for snow boots which is why I gave them 3 stars. Very easy to walk around in. I ordered 1/2 size larger than my normal size which accommodated my thick socks and I still had a little bit of extra room. Ultimately my goal was a boot I didn’t start feeling cold in playing in snow with my kids so these were returned. They’d be great for walking my dog on a shoveled sidewalk, but not for walking in snow deeper than the footbed of the boot.

Good fit.
They are comfortable, they fit like they should, they are very lightweight and the quality seems to fit the Columbia brand. They are a bit bulky around the ankle area, but that’s my only complaint. I’m not sure about how warm they are yet because it hasn’t been cold enough to tell yet.
