Great hiking shoes. Don’t hesitate to buy them😀
I ordered these in the gray and I love the style. When I first received them I put them on and felt they were too tight. I ordered a size 7 1/2 which should have been good and I almost returned them. But then I decided to try them out and wear them in the house for one day. That was enough to change my mind. So as far as fit, I would go with your normal size. I think my problem was all summer I had worn sandals and my foot just felt tight inside the shoe. But wear them in the house a bit before you decide if you think they’re tight.Today I used them for my first 4 mile hike and they were perfect! They were very comfortable. They gave me great support and traction. While others in the hiking group were wearing sneakers and slipping and didn’t have any ankle support I was doing fine. These Columbia hiking shoes were great.They appear that they will be very durable and I believe they will keep my feet dry. I highly recommend these and I would buy them again!

Love these hiking shoes!! Just the right size, good support, super comfortable. I wore them almost every day on a trip to Scotland in September, and wear them often here at home in California, especially when walking the dog. If I needed another pair, I would absolutely purchase again!

Quality boot, terrible insoles
I normally wear 7.5-8 shoe but the 8’s are a perfect fit. These boots are high quality. Very comfortable like a tennis shoe. Not clunky, chunky, heavy or awkward but lightweight and flexible. However the insoles are terrible and are simply a flat piece of thin foam with the shoe name on it. Absolutely no arch support or any support at all. I don’t have crazy high arches but I could feel the gaps between my feet and the bottom of the boot. I tried my Brooks tennis shoe insoles and they are perfect. I will be keeping these boots and plan buy another pair of Brooks insoles online or at the running shoe store.

Comfortable, lightweight, and stylish!
These shoes are super comfortable for hiking or walking, and I've been wearing them everywhere! I appreciate that they're waterproof and only took minimal breaking in. They're also nice and lightweight compared to hiking boots I owned in the past. I bought the light tan version with the electric blue laces and love the fun color! Looking forward to hiking many miles in these!
