Great shoes! No break in period.

Really happy with these shoes! I wore them hiking immediately after purchasing and they were great. No breaking in needed. Liked the ankle support and they are cute and have a good toe box. I usually wear a size 8 in shoes and bought an 8 and there was plenty of extra room at the toe. I have been told to buy a half size bigger in hiking shoes to leave extra room but these had plenty for me.

Narrow

I love the design and color. I love that it's one level without a raised heel. I love that these shoes are sturdy, being well-made. I've gone through so many shoes, to return them all. These hurt my feet. Mostly my left. The ball of my foot feels like it's got a wad of wrinkled sock under it. It isn't the sock. My foot is being squeezed. I'm going to keep them and try to have them stretched. Be aware that they are narrow. I half-filled a quart-sized freezer bag, placed it in the left shoe near the toe box, and then placed it in the deep freezer. That helped a little bit. I wish they had of had wide widths

Comfortable for long stretches

I bought these for a summer trip to Alaska on a Wirecutter recommendation. I wanted a lighter boot that was also waterproof. I recently took them on a long weekend trip that involved a lot of walking. I think these boots are more comfortable than my sneakers! Plenty of room in the toe box and great arch support. My feet didn’t hurt one bit even after 20,000 steps in these boots, and they kept my feet warm and dry. Plus, they look good and are not too bulky. Incredibly happy with my purchase.

Good, sturdy shoes for disc golf

Very comfortable right out of the box, fit great but could be a little snug if you’re wearing thicker socks. They’d stood up to several rounds of disc golf and treading through puddles and small streams, keeping my feet dry and warm. The ankle support has already saved my clumsy self 8 times at the very least, so thank you!

Comfortable but NOT waterproof

Well made shoes with a comfortable fit, but definitely NOT waterproof. Have hiked in them several times and liked them, but very disappointed to have squishy wet feet after a short morning walk in wet grass.

GREAT PURCHASE

Superior quality, cute, water resistant, great trek but feels like I'm wearing tennis shoes. Very lightweight and comfy. One flaw is something about the laces. They don't stay tied. Double knot
