turly wide width, little support

A bit pricey, but the only truly wide width option in this style anywhere with a legit size guide. the size guide is missing from the listing here on amazon i had to find it elsewhere, it is essential to getting the correct size with your length and width measurements. there seems to be enough room for me to use a support insert or something. My feet are short and wide and these fit great! The calf could use a little curve out from the ankle for me because my calves are slightly curvy but not plus size.Pros: truly wide width have to use their detailed size guide, lace up, quality seems good will have to update after regularly wearingcons: not very thick on the bottom, could use a better shape at the ankle for curvy calves (not plus size calf those are too big!), little support

Wide feet doesn't mean wide everything

Overall for less than 50 dollars, I decided to keep them. But they had several negatives that some were mentioned by other people and a couple I found. I also found a couple of things I liked.Pro,The boot is wide in the foot, and yes I bought wide but a lot of times that doesn't mean 'wide'.The tread is deep, so I was comfortable walking through freshly fallen snow with out slipping. It's a tall boot so able to tuck a pant inside it w/o the pant falling out.The boot itself looks good, stylish with either a jean or business casual pant.Con'sJust because it's wide foot, doesn't mean I have wide ankles or calves. The boot itself is really wide at the ankle and calf. The laces are pulled as tight as possible and still lots a space. No support in the ankle area because they are so wide. The boot itself is very stiff, so when I walk the front bends and cuts into the top of my foot. I'm hoping as the boot is warn, the fake leather will break down and bend more. The material the boot is made out of scuffs very easily, after the second day of wearing, and not going anywhere other than walking the complexes I live in, a scuff happened on the outside of the toe area. Not even sure how it happened. But it won't buff out..

Very cute

I love the look of these, I have a wide foot but skinny calves so the top of the boots rub when walking. I would need a thick sock or something but it’s worth it to keep because the boots themselves are extremely comfortable, roomy and sooooo cute with my fishnets. If your foot is wide and calves are too these will definitely fit you. Worth every penny, I won’t return because I still love them and the most comfortable boots in this style I’ve found.

Thanks to other reviewers

Apparently manufacturers believe if you have wide feet, you also have wide calves. I had ordered 3 other pairs and returned them for that reason. I normally wear a 8.5 wide width. Reviewers said these run small, so I took a chance and ordered these in a 9WW and they worked. The top is still a little looser than I'd like, but with boot sock toppers they are cute and will be fine.

Hurts my arthritis

With arthritis in my big toe, I was hoping the wide fit would give me relief. The shoe fits nicely with plenty of room, unfortunately there is zero support. It feels like a flat, thin sole that ends up hurting my toe within an hour of wearing them. If I add an insole, it is then too tight and hurts me more. Too bad.

Great find, not necessarily for the thickly ankled

I purchased these as a gift for my sister. I bought the wide width so she’d have a more comfortable fit. I’m glad I tried them on first though. She and I have the same length, but I’m a little smaller width wise. These were a little roomy on me, which would be perfect for her… but the ankle ended up being the smaller than we’ve change me to expect from a wide width. So I ended up having a surprise pair of boots. So just keep this in mind. If your feet are wider but your ankles are not, then these will work like a dream. I now prefer to wear these out. They just might not be for you if you have thicker ankles.
