Surprisingly Good Quality, Comfortable and Well Designed. Can’t Beat the Price!
This is a pair of men’s steel toe, puncture-proof slip on shoes that are great for work and standing for long periods of time. Although relatively inexpensive, I found these shoes to be of good quality, comfortable and well designed. A very nice surprise. The sneakers are made mostly of polyurethane, which can be found in various forms such as foam, elastomers, and coatings. It is known for its durability, flexibility, and resistance to abrasion, chemicals, and weathering. The description indicates that the steel toe can withstand impacts up to 200J. To give this some context, this would be equivalent (more or less) to a baseball pitched at 120 mph. Ouch! Anyways, the shoes are sturdy and can pack a heck of a wallop. The shoes have a memory foam insole that make them surprisingly comfortable with above average arch support. To me, arch support is imperative as I have tended to be flat-footed since I was a child. These shoes also are pretty lightweight which one might not expect in this type of work, steel toe shoe. Moreover, the sneakers have a Kevlar puncture-resistant midsole.I had not seen this before and found it to be a pleasant added feature. Basically, Kevlar is a strong, lightweight material known for its use in protective gear and equipment. It is a type of fiber that is five times stronger than steel on an equal weight basis. That is very cool. Kevlar is commonly used in products like bulletproof vests, helmets, and puncture-resistant footwear due to its high tensile strength and resistance to cuts and abrasions from things like nails and sharp debris. Protecting the feet should always be a priority, so this is awesome and a major plus. If you look at the shoes closely, you will notice they are made with a breathable mesh that fosters circulation. This is a type of fabric or material that is designed to allow air to circulate through the shoe, promoting ventilation and helping to keep the feet cool and comfortable. This is often achieved through the use of a porous or open-weave structure that allows air to pass through while still providing some level of coverage or protection. I also really like the flaps in the back of the shoes which make themvery easy to slip on and off. And you really can’t beat the price. This is actually a very well designed, good-quality shoe that can often go for $100 and above. This low price is usually linked to lower quality, cheap shoes. This is not that. I give them five stars because of the sturdy steel toe, the comfortable memory foam insole with decent arch support, the puncture resistant midsole, the breathable mesh and their ease to slip on and off. Almost forgot, the shoes are slip resistant witha deep-tread rubber sole designed for superior traction and shock absorption. Excellent work shoes and also can be worn for walking, sports or just as regular daily wear. They’re very nice for walking on the beach!

Perfectly dark for the dark - great choice for theater workers
These lightweight IRONDUDE shoes with their composite toe construction are a must have for anyone who values comfort and safety and shoes that don't feel heavy on your feet.ConstructionThe lightweight upper part of the shoe is comfortable and fits well around my feet. The tounge is padded and comfortable and is not too thick or thin, keeping with the appearance of the light weight look and feel. The hardened composite toes makes me feel safe and protected regardless the situation I am in. The laces are thick and durable like the rest of the upper shoe. The eyelet holes are well enforced metal and strong. The solid matte black finished look makes them look uniform and sleek.The inside of the shoes have soft comfortable insoles and good arch support and these shoes don't cramp my toes and I don't feel 'trapped'. My feet feel relaxed and comfortable when I am walking or just wearing them relaxing.The bottom sole has superior grip and traction with its deep cuts. I have zero fears of slipping and falling when wearing these shoes.Pros - strong durable composite construction top to bottom. Toe is hard and firm and protects well, exactly as advertised. They are comfortable and can easily be used for work or recreation.Cons - Matte black looking color and finish. Maybe not be attractive to everyone. Steel toe is solid, comfortable to wear
I use these shoes in my garage when working on my cars and other woodworking/metalworking hobbies and I will say that they are comfortable to wear all day. It doesn't feel bad on my feet nor does it give me back pain or anything like that. The steel toe is thick (I tested this, I used a hammer and the steel toe didn't deform). The fit is true to size, and the material is good so far, no tears or heavy creases. It should last me for quite some time.
