These were just the right shoes for my daughter!
I bought these for my daughter for her birthday this year. She asked for some black converse shoes size 8 1/2....after reading other comments about these shoes I found out that 1)they are sized in MEN's sizes and 2)they run large....so someone mentioned that they bought them in 2 sizes smaller than what you would normally buy for a women's size; and thats what I did. I ordered them in a size 6 and I was crossing my fingers that they would fit her just right because I hate returning and exchanging things! She was soooo excited to get them and then when she tried them on they fit PERFECTLY! YAY! So happy with them! Just wish they would have said something in the description about the size adjustments for women instead of having to search through comments and reviews.

Accurate fit!
These converse are the perfect size, as there is still room for growing feet. I suggest you go a half-size down as converse run a little big. I did go half-size down. If your feet are not still growing you MAY need to go a whole size down for a accurate fit. The converse are very comfy and the laces come pre-tied on the shoes so you don't have to take time putting the laces on.

Good everyday shoes
These shoes are true to size, are authentic converse, are comfortable, and arrived on time and in the correct color. My only complaint about converse is that they are a bit too narrow. However you can find them at pretty much any shoe store so you can always try them on first before you buy them. I am happy about the price too (they were $10 more expensive at DSW than here on amazon). They don't offer much in terms of arch support, but overall I can't complain.

CONVERSE SHOES SUCK
THE SOLES ON THESE CONVERSE SHOES WERE TWO DISTINCTLY DIFFERENT COLORS. ONE WAS A DARKER BROWN AND THE OTHER MORE OF A TAN. THESE SHOES WERE WORN ONLY TWICE TO A GYM CLASS BY OUR GRANDDAUGHTER. BOTH SIDES OF EACH SHOE BECAME UNGLUED AND WAS BREAKING AWAY FROM THE REST OF THE CANVAS OF EACH SHOE. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE CONVERSE SHOES AGAIN. AMAZON IS SELLING INFERIOR PRODUCTS.

Love my Chuck Taylors! #ima2chucktruckin!=)
They fit as I thought they would. For mens sizes I always have a tiny bit more room in the toe area but was afraid a half size smaller would be too tight. I love them though. I had a pair before, but someone needed a pair of shoes, so I gave my first pair to away. These were to replace my first pair finally. Its been awhile. I actually like these better than my first pair.
