Best shoes ever
Love love love love love this shoe brand. Hands-down, the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever worn in my life. I am a hairstylist and I stand all day on my feet and I am plus size. I have no issues wearing them for nine hours and then going out to dinner and wearing them for another three. definitely get yourself a pair of these shoes.

Attractive but too wide and loose
I really like the way Corkys sandals look, so attractive, you gotta love that style! But they are not made for regular medium width feet, and in spite of many reviews falsely proclaming 'true to size', they are NOT true to size.True to size would mean a size 8.5 fits an 8.5 Med. width foot. Wide size shoes are specialty shoes for a specific fit, just like narrow or XW, etc.Propet brand shoes makes shoes, sandals and boots for Med, Wide and XW fit for example, and many shoe manufacturers include Narrow, Med., Wide and XW options for fit.Not all people have wide feet. While CORKYS styles are super cute, and many want to wear them; those with Medium to Narrow feet are often excluded from this style of footwear 'club', in which the shoe just DOES NOT FIT for Medium and Narrow width 'outsiders'.I was beginning to feel like a sandal pariah, as I could not find one of the Corkys foot wear sandals to fit - and I tried many: even some of the look-a-like brands like Very G and Volatile, which while they have super-cute similar styles, they also tend to run too wide and loose.I found I had to use shoe inserts with the sandals to make them fit, which restricts some of the spontaneity of wearing sandals you can just slip on in the first place. But it was the only way any of these could fit including this style, which is very attractive, but way too wide and loose in the fit as well.I wear 8.5 to 9. The size 9 is NOT true to size, but runs wide and loose, so that my foot fit the platform lengthwise, but - the top of the sandal was so loose, my foot slipped forward through the front of the sandals and my toes were spilling over the endge of the platform being pushed forward as the top of the sandal was too loose to hold my foot in place.Now that is one loose sandal.Sizing down to a size 8 would most likely not fit as the platform would be too short, even if the top of the sandal fit properly, which is what I found happens with most all of these style sandals.They are only made for the what I call "wide foot club," and outsiders can pine away sighing that they cannot wear such cute sandals. Kind of like size exclusion: if you do not have very wide feet you are excluded from wearing these very attractive and comfortable sandals, as the fit prohibits anyone without wide feet from wearing them! (With-out using an insert, or cutting and re-sewing the straps to fit better, that is).So these are not just kind of cost-prohibitive, in that they do cost kind of a lot, for what they are; considering they are all FAKE leather and NOT REAL; but, they are also FIT PROHIBITIVE, in that anyone with a medium to narrow shaped foot cannot wear them, and is excluded from this so called Corkys 'club'.Nothing like a bit of shoe snobbery (kind of like a Corkys wedge sandal clique) to make me feel worse about myself than ever before, as I plod though the yuc of sandal land's ugly plastic and vinyl array of cheap Payless caliber sandals that are out there these days, to make me want to ask other shoe manufacturers to please copy this style and make medium and/or narrow width fit sandals that look just like these please? And perhaps with real leather? What a good idea that would be.
