Detailed Tall Western Boots

The boots look just like the photos and I found the sizing to be accurate and actually, quite comfortable right out of the box. I wear 9.5-10 in shoes/boots and I ordered the 10, since I usually go larger in boots for wearing socks or even adding an insole.The material is listed as being full-grain leather. It does not appear to be leather, but rather it looks and feels like pvc or faux leather, as they call it. No where in the boots do they have a material tag. Also, upon opening they had a very strong chemical odor, which still hasn’t dissipated after airing out overnight.I do like the many details of the boots, and that they feel very supple and smooth on the inside. They are lined with the same type of vinyl material, but in a darker shade. The brown color that I ordered is a nice medium brown.The sole is slightly etched to make them less slippery. The heel looks nice and stable.All in all, they are a fun pair of tall western boots. The calf area has plenty of room on me, but I have thin calves. I walked around the house in them, and they felt pretty comfortable. I don’t own a pair of dressy western-style boots, so these will be fun to wear if I ever need this style for an event. I thought the blue looked really fun, but they were unavailable in my size at the time.I give them a 3-3.5 because of the claim to be leather, the very strong odor (which I hope will dissipate), and the pricing, which is on the higher end. I give them a 4 for the look, fit and details.

Not bad at all

I have been in search for some tall, low-heeled boots, without a zipper for ages. I'm so glad I finally found these. They arrived in a small shoe box so they are a little creased which was disappointing but not enough to remove stars. I stuffed them with paper in hopes of counteracting the packaging fail. Otherwise, these boots are very comfortable and fit TTS. They look exactly as pictured but with that said, definitely don't look like real leather in the brown color. I think the blue and red may look a little more realistic. Nonetheless, for the price and quality of the boot overall, I am not complaining. Definitely getting some bang for your buck.
