Is it a sneaker, an oxford, a mule, or a house slipper?
I am very picky about shoes. These shoes are kind of strange, but they definitely check all of my boxes.First of all, the size fit as expected. They are cute and comfy. They can be easily adjusted for width by loosening or tightening the laces. They are easy to get on and off.The low-back isn't quite open-back as you would expect in a mule. It makes the shoes seem slightly less casual and provides heel support, but it's still low enough to make the shoes easy to put on, and low enough that i don't get blisters from heel slippage. They have decent foot support all around, and good arch support, too. I can walk around in them all day with no foot pain, which is huge as I have a bunion and intermittently struggle with plantar fasciitis. The faux shearling lining was a bit disappointing, being sort of thin. It means the shoes may not be as comfortable to wear barefoot. I usually wear socks, and the shoes feel great that way.I will say that these shoes don't really know what kind of shoe they want to be. The top looks sneaker-esque, but the soles are more like what you would see on an oxford. The lining wants to be a bedroom slipper. Even so, i love these shoes. They are dressy enough for business casual, but they feel sneakerly enough that it feels like I'm getting away with something by wearing them that way.Definitely would recommend, especially if your feet need extra TLC.
