Good Support and Cushion
This is my first pair of clogs, and I'm very happy with them! Because I have a low-volume foot with a wide toe box and a narrow heel, I've been adverse to try clogs. Also, the cork footbed made me leery, because my feet need cushion (I'm prone to plantar fasciitis - so I need support, but cushioning). WOW I'm so impressed with these clogs - they beat all of my uncertainties and hesitations!The toe box fits my wide toe box perfectly! I have room to splay my toes, too. But it doesn't feel too roomy - my foot feels very stable.Because of my low volume foot, I tightened the buckle one more hole (it has more holes to make it bigger, but only one hole to make it smaller). I did this after wearing them for a full day, to break them in and see if that was necessary. Once I tightened them, they stay better on my feet and now I don't feel like I have to shuffle in them.The cushion on the footbed feels so nice. I can't tell I'm standing on cork at all! It's just the right amount of firmness (to give support) but cushion so my feet don't feel hurt or fatigued. I wore these the entire day of Thanksgiving as I prepared food all day long, and my feet felt surprisingly good at the end of the day.I'm a size 11 and ordered the size 11. For the first hour or two wearing these, I was thinking maybe the size I ordered should be called a 10.5. My heel kept touching the back edge of the clog. But once I broke them in a bit more (another hour or so), they fit just like a size 11 ought to! After being broken in, my foot slides forward just a bit more (and the toe space opened up or stretched out a tad). Now my heel doesn't touch the back, and everything feels like it fits my foot perfectly!As apprehensive as I was to try these, these have exceeded my expectations! To be able to say I wore them an entire day straight out of the box - that's impressive! And I continue to enjoy these as a great slip-on shoe with excellent support and comfort.

As this review is being written the shoes are 38% off list price. At that and everything else considered they are a star item. At list price I would drop it to 4 stars. The shoes are modernly stylish. The buckled belt is attractive and functional. The soles are a material that is not slippery, and with plenty of good depth tread are good for avoiding accidents. The shoes are true to size, roomy and comfortable. The choice of colors is outstanding - I liked the taupe. There is ample arch support and the cushiony insoles are quite comfortable. The suede leather only helps to justify the price. And yes, if you ask Rufus it will tell you that you really don't want to get these shoes wet. And it gives some measures to take if they do or you expect them to. But I know that is just the way it is with suede, and do not de-rate the product because of it, knowing what I am getting and the possible pit-falls of it.
