Finally an option for ballet flats!
You never know what you will get when you order online, as it can be hit or miss. I read reviews, as was still not sure what to expect. No offense to the other reviewers, but I wasn’t planning to add embellishments or wear them as house slippers. I was looking for something to wear with a skirt, dress or jeans. You know, for a few hours at church, to Bible study, to appts, etc. These are perfect for that purpose.So that other readers understand context, I am a picky buyer, and tend to buy J.Crew, Calvin Klein, Levis, Clarks, Frye, Coach, etc. Are these shoes in that same quality range? No. Do they look like a designer dupe, yes.I purchased these in the nude color, size 9 W. I normally wear a size 8-8.5. My toes swell thanks to arthritis so I have to be very careful of foot care. Most of the time, I am in boots, athletic shoes, or sandals with an arch support. But these are fine for a few hours, and quick errands. I could not spend an afternoon shopping in them, however. But that’s my feet, not the design of the shoe.There is no arch support in the shoe. However the base is not wobbly or unstable. I wanted to address this since a reviewer stated it felt like a flip flop. This shoe is far from a $5 foam flip flop with a plastic strip that runs across the top of toes. The material on the top of this shoe is thick, substantial and soft. While I won’t go as far as to say it feels like lambskin leather, it is flexible and not harsh on the skin. As someone with arthritic foot pain, I appreciated that. I also liked that the cut was below the classic “bunion rub” commonly encountered with traditional ballet flats. Maybe this is because I can actually control where my foot goes into the shoe since it is a mule. I hate being forced to buy a shoe that fits the length of my foot but rubs my toe bone, shreds the skin off my heel, and makes my metatarsal area throb — all all classic issues with the traditional ballet flat.This brilliant mule design is classy. It provides nice coverage of the foot, doesn’t rub on bunion bones, and has ample cushion in the footbed. I would, as other reviewers have stated, size up by a half size. These do seem to run narrow even in the wide width, and run short. Also be aware of your toe bed depth needs. This was fine for me, but I expect as I wear it, the big toe area may shoe some stretching. I don’t know why toe beds have to be so snug. I deducted a star for this reason and because there wasn’t any arch support at all..All in all, I like the look and comfort of this shoe. For the price point it looks much more expensive, the ability to finally have a ballet flat look without it killing me is awesome, and the tiny bit of a square toe is trendy. I will also note that the squared toe is ever so slightly there. It is flattering to the foot and not likely to go out of style since it is very close to an almond toe. I may go back and purchase in black as well. I would pay more if there was an option to buy in leather, as it lasts longer and is better for your feet!

Very good value
These mules look considerably more expensive than they were. Very well made and the materials used do not look “cheap.” That being said they are as comfortable as they are elegant in appearance. The lining is generously padded and easy to wear. These are shoes to wear for a date or luncheon, or other events. I don’t think I would consider them for all day or for work. They are special occasion shoes.

These are literally impossible to walk in, they slide off your feet and are loud like flip flops. 10/10 don’t recommend i couldn’t even get from my car to tho my office without them coming off at least 3 times . Make your feet sweaty, if you wear with the half socks makes your feet slide even more .
