These boots are exactly what I was looking for-easy on and off with Velcro closures and good traction on snow and ice. I bought a pair in my usual size 11, but I immediately saw the “44” on the bottom of the boot when I opened the draw string bag. I knew they’d be too big. Size 11 should be size 42 European size. So reordered a size 10 hoping that it would say 42 on the bottom (which it did!). And they fit perfectly. I will be returning the size 11. I’m not sure if all the sizes will be off kilter like this. But after the inconvenience of reordering and returning, I am very happy with my purchase.

Glad I Found These After Frostnip Chipmunk Sledding Incident

Last week I was sledding an inflatable chipmunk down a snowy hill, and like an idiot, wore rain boots and got frostnip. I’m a vlogger; we tend to do stupid things. After 5 years of living in Colorado, the time had come to be a responsible human and buy snow boots.When I stumbled across these, I was looking for moon boots. These are SO much cheaper but have the same 1980s throwback vibe and fun, vibrant colors. Your boots must be Instagrammable, or nobody will #LikeAndSubscribe. It hasn’t snowed since they arrived, so no word yet how they do in the snow, but they’re super comfortable, fit perfectly, and were much warmer than my rain boots. Sometimes you don’t know what your cheap Amazon find will look like I’m person, but I was pleasantly surprised to find they’re really cute and don’t look like they’ll fall apart. Would definitely recommend so far.I gave the chipmunk to some kids; otherwise, I’d post a picture of it with these snow boots. Glad that next time I do something crazy at least I shouldn’t have to worry about my toes freezing and falling off.

If you need boots in a hurry, these aren't for you.

The color matches the pic, and the fit is ok--not narrow in the toe bed, like some reviews indicated, although they are a bit loose in the heel, even with winter socks. The sole is meant to give good traction, and it does. They're comfortable and warm, but there are a few problems. First, there is practically no overlap at the bottom of the Velcro strap opening, meaning if you walk in deep snow, it can get in the boot. Second, they were described as "mid-calf" height. Maybe if you're a "little person." They barely come above my ankle. Third, the straps are set at an odd angle, making it impossible to get a snug fit around your leg, and since they're short, that means snow in your boot if you have very much. Also, 5-7 day shipping was actually 10, and that's after they changed the delivery date several times. All in all, I'd have to say you get what you pay for.
