These are beautiful boots. They are well made, polished, and something my husband will proudly wear for years to come. They were a perfect fit - which is something my husband doesn't say very often with new shoe purchases. He was pleased with the price and even though they were a little longer getting here because of the weather, they were still delivered before Christmas.
I bought these for my dad to wear to a wedding. He literally took them out of the box and wore them with no issues. He stated they were very comfortable. He wore them for two full days of travel through several airports with no problem. They were exactly as described.
The heels on these wore completely down in less than 6 months. This is a major concern. since I have been buying this Dan Post model for several years and have never seen this before. In fact I bought a pair of the same boot in Brown back in January and they still look fine and I wear the brown ones more that I do the black ones. Is it possible that I got a pair that had been returned?
Boots looked great. Problem is I ordered an 8D and received 8EE. Too wide. Will have to return.
Dan Post boots are the only boots I have found that really fit my wide feet well without having to go up 2 sizes. These boots are very good quality and last a long time. After 2 complete re-soles, the uppers are still in excellent shape.
Fit is ok, soles do not last, had to replace them in 6 months. Would not buy them again. Unsatisfied
