Excellent Boots
Purchased the Mignon Black Boot in a size 10.5 for my boyfriend's birthday and he was blown away. He loves the detail, the fit, and, actually, he loves everything about them. From the moment he tried them on he had a huge smile on his face. They look great--better than the online picture. He said these boots were very comfortable and even wore them to a wedding with his grey suit. He received a lot of compliments. This is a very good looking pair of boots. I tried to purchase a much more expensive Italian boot for him last year, and the experience was a dismal disappointment. I am thrilled with the Dan Post Company and Amazon. They shipped the boots right away, the price is terrific, they are true to size, and the craftsmanship is excellent. I will be back for a brown pair for him for Father's Day. Thank you.

Good boots, but don't last as long as others
I wear these daily (or, nearly daily) and like them a lot. They shine nicely and look just as good in jeans as they do in a suit. They don't last as long as I'd expect, however. The first two pairs I bought lasted about a year each before suffering from a toe-blowout. Also, these tend to fit a bit more loosely than most boots. Not enough to justify getting a smaller size, but they won't stretch like most boots. Overall, I do like these boots and will continue buying them.

Great boots for every occasion.
Quality boots made in Mexico. You can smell the leather right away. They are true to size but you do have to break them in so get ready to struggle the first couple of times you have to take them off. They also look good for any occasion. Whether some with some blue jeans and a shirt or suit and tie they look great with either.

worst customer service nightmare from Amazon
Amazon’s customer service in the return / exchange is just appalling. On September 19, 2018, the boots were personally delivered to an Amazon drop-off facility and accepted by a live person. No issue that the boots were not returned and got confirmation email. Now, on October 4, 2018, the tracking information states, “item on its way back” and “refund once we get the item.” In following up with Amazon customer service, they only respond with form emails, again stating that a refund will be posted once the item is received, ignoring their provisos emails acknowledging receipt. Customer service is utterly useless, providing only computer generated responses.The Dan Post boots that were received were different from the pictured Amazon posting. The boot’s shaft’s stitching was not black, as pictured, but a combination of black, grays and white. Since the design was on the shaft and not that visible when worn, the difference was something that I could live with.The construction of the boot was excellent. The rounded toe style is perfect for formal and casual wear. I had Dan Post boots in the past and was very satisfied in their quality of material and (eventual) fit (boots will take time to fully form to foot). My boot size is consistently 10.5, but my last Dan Post boots (a gift) were 10 which were tight, to this time I ordered size 11, just to be sure. However, these new boots were just too irregular. The left boot’s shaft was snug but comfortable to get into, which was proper, but the once slid in past the shaft, the fit was extremely and painfully tight for a size 11. The right boot’s shaft was incredible tight, making the insertion nearly impossible to get past the vamp. Once the foot was in, the bed was then extremely loose with so much extra room, making walking awkward. I have read where boot can be inconsistent within the pair, but never experienced that myself before. However, these new boots were disappointedly so dissimilar, had the soles not match I would have thought they were difference sizes.Based on the quality of construction and materials, I would have liked to recommend the boots. But the asymmetrical and irregular fit warranted return. As for Amazon, that will be my last purchase for the uncaring and unresponsive company, regardless how big they continue to get or more companies they acquire.

Great pair of cowboy boots!
Got these in black,great looking and high quality leather.Right out of the box these boots where a great fit.Ordered these in my normal size of 10.5 D width and the fit is perfect.As these age they should get even more comfortable,and the leather should look even better.Dan post makes a great boot for a very reasonable price.Great choice for an all around great cowboy boot.

Great boot, great price!
