These heels are advertised as a ballroom dance shoe. I purchased a size 5 for my 14 year old daughter. She normally wears a size 4/5 and they fit well. They are a beautiful shoe and my daughter loves the look of them. These look very like professional ballroom dance shoes, and are priced similar to other dance shoes. They will work for us, however she is a vocal performer and not a dancer so I cannot attest to the quality in regards to dancing. They are comfortable and will look great on stage with her costumes. I usually buy her dance shoes because they fit well and she is less likely to trip on stage. These will work great for her

soles are so soft and comfortable

The cushion on these heels make you feel like your walking on clouds. My feet was already hurting when I tried these on and as soon as I put these on my feet was relieved. These are supper comfortable and cute. They do run 1/2 size big and the 3 straps from the top are really big for my skinny ankles and feet. They seem stretched out, but they are not tight to support walking as they flop. I thought maybe because they are 1/2 too big but that is not the case. If you have fat feet you will be able to fill it in. The sole cushioned, extremely soft and comfortable.

Runs large. Cute for an event but not for competitive Ballroom dance

3 stars because this is advertised as a ballroom dance shoe. If it was advertised as just a dress shoe I would probably rate it a 5, because it is really pretty and appears to be well made.Positives: The rhinestones are very sparkly, well placed, and are securely attached. The style is very flattering and will look nice with any formal outfit.Negatives: Runs big. Everywhere. I have a fat foot with a high instep - normally I buy 9 wide or 9.5 avg. in shoes but these size 9 shoes are too big for me! The ankle and heel are very wide and only have a zipper for closure so you can't tighten it. The straps across the foot are too loose. There's no buckle for adjustment, so my feet slide around in the shoe. Strike 1 for Ballroom -- no support. Strike 2 - the sole has no flexibility! You can't articulate your foot and if you try to point your feet there's an awkward gap between your arch and the sole.Final verdict: If you are looking for a nice shoe to wear at an event where there will be a non strenuous dancing, these will suffice. Just be sure to size down. Thick or wide feet size down a half, others may want to size down a whole.However if you are planning to show off some major moves on the dance floor, these aren't going to be a good option.
