Comfortable and well worth the value.
This is a such an awesome shoe the soles are very comfortable right out of the box the remaining shoe definitely need broken in and acclimated to the activities that I do. I had been shopping for a set of hikers and none of the 2024 to 2025 styles from Skechers to Columbia and any other brands just didn’t catch my eye like these Danner Cascades. My current hiker Skechers have held up longer than they should have and I am shocked but pleased cause I got my money’s worth out of them. I did call Danner to talk to them about sizing as depending on shoe manufacturers I am either 11 to 11.5 wide width or regular just depends on manufacture . Danner suggested 11 wide and that fit right on the money. Some of our local sporting good store here in the 316 did carry Danner shoes that I tried on for fit but they did not have wide width shoes to gauge shoe fit. I was able to make a judgment call based on fitting some other brand Danners and talking to Danner customer support. These shoes should last quite a long time as these are my Fall/Winter wear shoes as I wear sport sneakers late spring into the summer. I am definitely gonna keep my eyes open for future sales on these shoes as they have a total of 2 other color variations. Now for the women out there looking to get a gift for the man in your life this would be the gift of choice I suggest if the man in your life wears these kind of the shoes.
