2nd pair of Danners from Amazon
The first pair of Danners were incredible. I got another style of Danners and they were 100.00 cheaper and still a great boot. Very comfortable. I’ve worn them about a week and a half. Not blisters or rubbing.

Great work boots overall, but relative to what kind of work you’re wearing them for. I work as a residential carpenter, not new construction, so normally I’m in customers homes repairing, remodeling, trim work, etc. I bought these bcs we’re doing major demo (plaster/lathe) on an old house & my normal boots that I wear (Blundstone & Chippewa non-lug sole) were a little light to be in dumpster shifting debris, stepping on nails all day long, plaster chunks falling on toes, busting up tile/concrete, etc. These are great for heavier construction & being in mud, dirt, debris, whatever. But they’re def a Frankenstein type of boot & you know you’re geared up in them stomping around jobsite. Very comfortable out of the box, not too heavy relative to a boot this size w a protective toe. Fit was perfect for me (ordered my usual size). Roomy toe box, easy to wear thicker socks on cold days & seem like they’d be ok in year round weather unless the temp is really cold.
As comfortable as the Danners that cost twice as much, bought a pair of those and will be returning them.
I wear an 11.5 wide boot. Most boots I've had in the past were ok, but there was a little squeeze in the toe and so they felt restrictive after a full day. I really set out this time to find a truly comfortable boot. These Danner's are the first boots where the toe box is not only wide enough but very comfortable. I wore them to a job for the first time and they felt more broken in and comfortable than any boot I have ever worn. I hadn't heard of Danner before, so I initially tried all the big names and while some of those were also good, the Danner right out of the box was the most comfortable. I do a lot of crouching and theses boots do not pinch or bind. They look great too. Time will tell how durable, but they feel quality and solid and I am very happy with these
The boots are great. Broke in quickly (a couple days of wearing around the house in the evenings before I put them to work). I can stand all day on steel ship decks with minimal fatigue. I climb a lot of ladders, too, so the light weight is another plus. The big toe box is great when you're in boots all day too. I have owned and tried on other boots from several brands in this price range and found many of them lacking in the toe room department. For me that extra wiggle room can make the difference between suffering and "no worries" by the end of a long overtime day. My wife also thought they looked better than my old boots, for what that's worth. No cons that I have seen so far. Don't really run hotter or breathe worse than other boots, despite the waterproof rating. I do worry a bit about the durability of the liner, but still going strong with no apparent wear after 2 months, so time will tell.
Good boot. Comfortable an great ankle stability
This was a repeat purchase. We bought the exact same boots last March at the Danner outet in Portland, Oregon. Great for a wide foot. Waterproof for at least eight months. Comfortable. I wouldn't really expect any boot to perform better under harsh outdoor conditions on a daily basis for that amout of time.We ordered a EE for a wide foot, Length seemed correct. Wider size also accommodates an extra sock for cold outdoor working conditions.Price on Amazon was comparable to Danner outlet and with Prime, shipping was free. Saved me a trip to the store.
