Doesn't run THAT big. Stylish AF.

I normally wear a 10 or 10.5 depending on the shoe. Based off all the reviews on the Jag stating it ran large, "They're huge!", "Definitely order half to full size down", yada yada yada... I ordered both a 10 and 10.5 fully expecting to end up keeping the 10. The 10 fit, but it was exact, and a bit narrow in the toe box, but I've got some long toes. The 10.5 fit as well, but was a bit roomier in the toe box and if I want to throw on some wool socks in the winter, the boot won't be too tight. Needless to say, I kept the 10.5. I really don't think they run THAT big. After a couple of wears, part of the waterproof inner lining started to kind of bend down and hit my toes, which was a tad uncomfortable and a bit concerning, but after a few more days of breaking them in, the liner seemed to settle and pull back up. No longer a concern. Boots are super comfortable, light weight, and warm. I've already worn them through a few rain filled commutes (walks), and my feet stay dry as a bone, and the boots still look like they're fresh out of the box. I got the Gray/Blue and my wife said "Are those Jordan's? They look like Jordan's!" Lol. Bottom line, they feel great and look great.

Stylish, Versatile Mid That Works on the Street and the Trail

I am normally a size US 11. On the recommendation of other reviews, I went a 1/2 size down on these, and they fit perfectly. These boots are QUITE warm (granted it's summer), but I don't see why you would need to go a full size down to accommodate super heavy socks. I just don't think they would be needed. There was a slight pinching at the toe bend for the first couple of days, but it has gone away with wear. These work out as something of a middle ground between my Merrell Allout Blaze Mid and my Solomon XA Pro 3D GTX. The Jag feels a bit lighter and has a lower arch than the Merrell. But the Jag is definitely heavier than the Salomon. However, it also provides more rigidity and ankle support than the Salomon, so that's the tradeoff. The tread has been great on all surfaces so far, with the exception of coming in from the rain onto a high polished stone floor, then things get a little slick and squeaky. They have also kept my feet high and dry in the heavy rains we've been having. Overall, I'm really happy with them. I've gotten lots of comments already.

Looks and Feels Great

TLDR; Best Shoe I've Owned, Goofy Laces?Description : Predominantly Gray and Black, Yellow and Green accents, green laces. Arrived in a box in perfect condition.Pros : Well built. The best feeling shoe I have ever had, and that tops similar brands that I admire such as Merrill. Color and material quality seem great. Comfortable for walking short or long distances. The spacing inside the shoe is also more comfortable than I am used to.Cons : Not actually a con, but the green laces put this shoe firmly in the casual zone. I love the color, I think its great, but some Charcoal or Dark Gray laces would probably make this shoe acceptable in a few more social situations that have the type of people who actually judge others by what they wear (bootyheads, all of em).I bought these in the 100 dollar price range, I'd love em a bit more a bit cheaper, but the build is second to none for this type of shoe. Shoes are identical to product images.

Great boot/shoe for what I needed

I was headed to Germany in September and really wanted a pair of shoes/boots that I could do a lot of walking in, but didn't look like an athletic shoe or diehard hiking boot. Instead of taking multiple shoes for this, that, and the other, I wanted one pair to do a little of everything. I was with a group of six in a small car so, packing light was key. I have hiking boots, leather boots, sneakers, etc., but I needed something that could be dressed up or down and felt like a comfy sneaker with support and good warmth for fall in southern Bavaria.I'd say after walking a ridiculous amount everyday for a solid week in 40-60F° temps, these accomplished the job! They look like a shoe with pants covering them and feel like a casual duty hiking boot. Color pretty much matches the photo exact. They're definitely warm so, don't expect a lot of breathability in warm weather. I could see wearing them mostly from fall to spring in milder climate areas, which is what I wanted them for post trip. I personally wouldn't do any avid backpacking in these like my pairs of Vasque, but I could see them withstanding some hiking if that's what you want to do. I would think of this as more of a cool weather urban boot shoe than a mountain trek boot. Two drawbacks to the Jags is the size and ankle comfort. The sizing is slightly larger than my normal shoe size. I wear a 10 in most things and got a half size down per a lot of people's reviews. When I first put the boot on a was a little nervous that it was the wrong call and I should have stayed true to size, but after a week in them with light to medium weight socks, they packed down a little and now I could fit a thicker sock in them if I needed to. It'll be snug, but not painfully tight. As for the ankle comfort, for some reason I felt like the eyelet at the top of my right boot kept sort of poking from the inside, like a knot pressed against my leg all day; however, I was wearing them for long periods of time and after wearing them a few times since I've been back home I haven't really noticed it. That's the only reason I dropped one star.Bottomline is if you're going more for style that mimics your hiking/outdoors lifestyle, but comfort and functionality matters, I'd give the Jags a shot.

My second most comfortable pair of shoes that fit large feet!

Wears really well. Wide enough for my XL size 14 feet! Like the bright red.
