This is my second pair of Danner Vital boots, the first being uninsulated. They wear excellent, no break-in required, are light weight , and ARE waterproof! Only downside for Danner, they last forever, even with continous wear.

I usually wear a size 10 but ordered a size larger because of heavy hunting socks I think these boots run a little small and my toes were cramped I like the boots they are very well constructed I will be ordering another upon this pair being returned

A bit hard.

Weight wise they are light which is a plus compared to my older Danners. Warmth is decent. Overall I found the boot to be a bit on the hard side, but they are getting softer as I they get used.

Perfect

I bought these as a gift for my husband. He wore them hunting yesterday and came back very happy. He would not stop raving about how lightweight and comfortable they are. We ordered his typical shoe size in wide, and he said they hugged his foot perfectly while still having plenty of room for his toes. His old hunting boots would result in his back and hips hurting, along with his toes, but he hiked all day yesterday and said he felt absolutely great. His feet stayed warm and dry while hiking through the mountain streams. We live in Wyoming and while it wasn't especially cold yesterday, I believe a high of 50 degrees, the early morning started out much colder with high winds, and he said they were great. His only complaint was that the top back of the boot dug into his calf a bit, but he loosened them up and they were much better. He's confident that after a couple more wears, they will be broken in and this will no longer be an issue. It made me so happy to see him so happy! We bought two sizes so that he could get the right fit, and it just so happened that my dad fit the ones that did not fit my husband. Both of them fit their typical shoe size. My dad is also very pleased with them and plans to wear them out the next time they go hunting.

Great quality and super waterproof

I bought these on 11/4/2024 and at first loved them. Now almost 13 months later the are now longer repelling water. One year warranty Im out of luck. Disappointing. If "good" boots only last a year I might as well buy a cheaper brand and throw away after a year.
