I bought the same shoe version that was not gortex 2 years ago and loved them for hiking as the fit and feel were great! The only problem is they were not waterproof. These new gortex version are everything I wanted in a light hiking shoe. I have hiking and climbing boots and these are a perfect addition to my quiver.
Very comfortable and sturdy. Normally wear size 10 so that is what I ordered. They fit narrow feet well.
I have been using these in the Pacific North West for hiking, commuting, walking around the city etc. Pretty much everything. And they are fantastic!Comfortable, fit well, and I have large feet. The 14 Wide fits me great!There is enough room for my orthotics, but it was a little tight at first till everything wore in properly. Water resistance is great! I have walked in the rain with these many times and my feet were always dry.
These are good shoes. I’d give less stars but they’re built well. I detail cars for a living. I figured for nearly 200.00 these shoes would have non slip soles. They make walking on wet finished concrete like ice. They’re useless for me. I’ve found water proof shoes that work. They just don’t stay waterproof for long and still cost about 100.00. I expected more from these. Today was my first day wearing them. Slipped and fell with the first auto I washed. Not worth it to me. I almost lost a thumb from a slip at my shop. So, my search continues.
Once worn a few times, comfy and light weight and waterproof.. I don’t have wide feet I wear regular vans & Nikes etc but in dannners I had to buy EE for some reasonOther than that run true to size
I bought these for work, I walk about 13k steps a day and I have worn the Danner boots and loved them (before they sold) these are extremely uncomfortable. It's like walking on concrete. Tried to return them within the week and the seller denied the return (hopefully Amazon makes it right) buyer beware Danner customer service is awful!
Quality seems really good , but shoe seems to encourage pronation . None of my other shoes have done this , but from the back the shoe noticably tilts in a little . You dont see it from the front.Everything else about the shoe is great , but stopped wearing after a few weeks when i noticed it
