Perfect casual wear or trail shoe

I bought these for the daily wear comfort as a casual shoe since they fit like a glove. So soft and comfortable! I do wear them to walk park trails with uneven terrain on weekends. They are great for that. They are so comfortable for daily wear I use them as a nice classy looking casual shoe. Danger has amazing quality and comfort at a fair price. The looks are great. The red laces look great and help bring some pop to jeans. Shoes look new with occasional cleaning and are quite durable. Tread has great grip and non-slip when wet.

Light as a feather, sturdy and comfortable

Replacing a well worn and well loved pair of Timberland low top hikers. I find the 2650 to have a great balance of sturdy construction, stable footbed and cutting edge materials. I looked at many of the available options in the trail sneaker, approach shoe and low top hiker markets. I found the sock-like fit of many of the trail shoes too slippy, with my foot sliding around (on say, the Adidas Terrex hiker, for example). I also found this amore comfortable shoe that several of the approach options (like the Five Tennies 5 10). Took me a couple of exchanges to get the fit I needed. Normally I wear an 9.5 is everyday shoes but this fit more like a sneaker and I had to size up to a 10. I also chose the WIDE option (even thought I don't generally need to in other shoes). The result: super grippy, super comfortable and very stable. With my old pair I could also count on water resistance, not an option in a 2650 low top. I hope to trade that for better breathability, and while the shoe had plenty of air channels, I am not seeing as much airflow as I would have expected. Walking is fine (pushing air in and out) but if you find yourself sitting around, you might find that your feet get hot, as mine did. Overall a small gripe. Feel very confident getting out on the trail / scrambling, etc. in these. Hope the prove to be durable, as well as comfortable.

Unparalleled

I heard about danners by reading reviews on other shoes (or really boots and then I got to see there shoes also) and I saw that it basically comes down to price vs quality. I was looking for high quality shoes because I live in a very mountainis aria so I basically spend a large part of my day hiking around steep hills and stairways because I don't have a car. The traction is very good, I've never experienced such good cushioning nor did I realize what a difference it makes, I feel like I'm walking on shocks. The build seems extremely durable and intelligently made (for example the laces have a second hole further down on the shoe which I switched my laces to that hole so that it would fasten tighter to my foot because I'm using relatively thick insoles to better my step). I hope to right another review in a long time from now about how they held up (my other shoes haven't been lasting long in this environment but these look very promising)!!! Btw, most people probably buy from there website which is why there aren't so many reviews but Amazon offers cheaper shipping where I live and also financing:)

More than I usually spend on shoes, but, so far I'm glad I went for it.

I can't believe how comfortable these are... I am blown away! Total support beneath my feet, they feel so great to walk in!Styling is exactly what I wanted, exactly as pictured on Amazon, subdued, not flashy or eye grabbing. The "offset" arch support was a surprise (see other reviews for more info) - so far so good.

Run small for size listed

Shoes are fine, but run too small, I will have to reorder the next size up and return these.
