Super Comfortable
I've always heard that Danner combat boots are super comfortable, but have never had a pair. When I wanted some orange shoes I figured that I would give this brand a try, and I'm very thankful that I did. I've worn them and few times and they are very comfortable. I sold shoes for ten years, so I am picky about what I put on my feet. They run a little larger than most athletic shoes. I wear an 8.5 in running shoes (currently Asics Nimbus) and ordered an 8 in these. They fit well, I maybe could have even gone down to a 7.5, but my feet are a bit wide so I'm sticking with the 8. I can't wait to go hiking in them!

Usually love Dinner hikers, but not this pair
Dinner makes great comfortable hiking shoes. I wanted to replace mine and ordered new pair, same size and style number -- but Dinner changed the design. This show had the rogue attached in a way that if you have a high arch it is uncomfortable fit.

Foot doesn’t fit into them
Foot doesn’t fit into them because the tongue of the shoe is attached and has little stretch to it. I like my Danner Hikers but these not.

Wide toe box but too narrow of heel cup.
I like the style and material as it stays clean and is easy to wipe clean if needed. I have a narrow foot so the extra wide toe box for me is not ideal, but still comfortable. But the heel cup is very tight even for my narrow foot and need to use shoe horn. So if you have a wide foot I don’t think these shoes will work.
