Comfort!!! My wide feet LOVE THIS SHOE!
Wow! We are going to London and I need a comfortable walking shoe. After trying and returning 17 different shoes (no lie) from across the US I landed on these. Finally!I have a wide foot and the M width works for me. I first tried a 40-wide but surprisingly that was too wide so I switched back to the M width and sized up one size.VERY comfortable right out of the box!What I love:Soft seamless interior leather lining feels great. The heal strike has nice feel and excellent cushion & shock absorption. There is a 3/4 shank in this shoe which gives it more stability for walking on cobblestone roads. They are cute on the foot and very attractive. The toe box is roomy and taller so your toes are not crushed. If you want to feel sure footed and need a comfy shoe to be a tourist this may work for you.Apparently this is the go to shoe for flight attendants and I can see why.I am a 9-9.5 and size 41 felt better for me. I could have gotten away with a 40 but because my foot is so wide to be safe I sized up.The quality of the shoe is truly excellent.HIGHLY recommend this shoe for anyone that has to do a lot of walking or for people who have a job that requires them to be on their feet the most of the day.Save yourself the time and hassle I just went though and buy these.

I absolutely love these shoes. They are my second pair. They look great on. I wear them to work. My first pair lasted me years. The velcro was getting a bit unreliable, so I bought a new pair when I found them available. Although, I do love the velcro closure because I'm not struggling at 6 am to fasten shoes with buckles on the outside of my leg. And you can't tell it's velcro once they're on. You can tell they are real leather. My first pair still looks decent which is so hard to get nowadays. Other shoes mark up so easily. The comfort of Dansko is extraordinary, especially when on you're feet all day. Very stable shoes. I'll use my new pair at work and my old ones when I'm out and about. I wear a size 9 shoe and their 39 fits perfect.

You get what you pay for
These are nicely designed with quality materials. The heels fit well and comfy to walk in. Toe box is just right with enough room to wiggle. We ordered this pair and Dansko Women's Fynn Mary Janes to compare. All I can say is you get what you pay for. Both shoes look equally cute, but Fynn did not even fit on the heels. When you walk in Fynn, the heels move like flip-flops. Padding and materials in Fynn were also not as comfy. If you are looking for a pair of shoes you can comfortably walk in or stand in all day, Fawna is definitely the way to go. One star was taken out for the customer service. We had to contact them for some issue, instead of explaining, the response was just a little bit too defensive as if we didn't buy enough. Not a great way to deal with customers.

Not enough room on the top of the shoe
I really wanted to love this shoe because it's exactly what I need, but it didn't work for me. I tried 2 sizes, but in both cases, the top of my big toe faced pressure against the top of the shoe. There was room between the end of my big toe and the tip of the shoe - that wasn't the problem. I could feel the pressure on top of my big toe the instant I put my foot in the shoe. I was so disappointed because the shoe is absolutely beautiful, and extremely well made and I would have loved to have it for an upcoming trip. Unfortunately, I will have to return them.
