These are such great sandals! I put them on as soon as I got them and was impressed with the fit and comfort. They seemed true to size as well, even for my foot that is recovering from surgery. A couple of days later, I wore them all day with jeans. They did not disappoint! I had no pain and got compliments on their cuteness! They are also appropriate for a dressy occasion. I wish they came in different colors.
Love these sandals. The footbed is very supportive and comfortable. I have not had any problems with the Velcro closure. Once I got it sent to a comfortable position, I simply take advantage of the bit of elastic on the heel strap to pull back and slide the sandals on. There is no real need to readjust or overuse the Velcro closure. The fisherman style is very cute.
My regular size for my other Danskos is 39, but it didn't work this time. I love the sandals, but couldn't get the ankle strap to fit snugly, and they were a bit too long. Nice looking, otherwise comfortable. So sorry they didn't fit well enough.
Dansko does it again--the most comfortable shoes in cute, breathable sandals. And I got them on SALE!!! I have to wear compression stockings and the color of the stockings doesn't match my skin color--they are much darker--but there are no choices in beige. So these shoes allow my pedicure to shine with my open-toe stockings, and you can't really tell they are darker than my skin! That and the fit, excellent comfort, and value... they're a big win!!
These are clearly good quality, and I ended up keeping them, but I was surprised to find they had a velcro fastening on the ankle strap, and the buckle is just decorative. It makes the shoes feel cheap which, considering they are not actually cheap shoes, is a pretty major design flaw. Aside from that, they're really comfortable and well made, but I just find that little velcro tab really offputting.

I’ve purchased multiple styles of Dansko shoes in the past. They’ve always been consistent on size and quality, but this sandal runs large and wide! I was not expecting this problem because my shoe size is a solid 8.5 US/39 EU. My foot just flops around inside the shoe because there’s so much room! It fits like an 9.5 W.The leather straps are very pretty, but they’re THIN. I’m especially concerned the sling-back strap will rip out. The back strap is not adjustable, but the faux buckle strap has Velcro. It is a pretty shoe-just not going to work for me. If your foot is fuller, you may want to give them a try.
