Very supportive mules for my high arches and fit my 8.5 feet perfectly.

I am always on the look-out for orthotic shoes for my high arches. I also prefer mules since I am no longer agile enough to paint my toenails anymore. I have size 8.5 feet and find that size 39 is usually too large. Luckily, these Dansko Leora Slip-on Mules in size 8.5-9 fit just right. (The front of the box labels them as size 39, and the side of the box has a size chart that shows all of the shoe sizes.) They were well-packed with reinforcing, shoe-shaped cardboard.The decorative chain on the front of each shoe is a nice touch. The black Nappa leather feels of good quality. I discovered the orthotic inserts are actually removeable, but I need to use them for my high arches. The height of each orthotic arch is 11-12mm. I recently wore these Dansko mules out to dinner. They are not fancy high heels, of course; they are flat shoes that are nonslip and provide a steady balance while walking. The shoes did not crush my toes at all, and they were easy to walk in and step up onto a curb. At no time did my feet slip out of these shoes as I walked. They were very comfortable and supportive of my high arches. I recommend these Dansko Leora Slip-on Mules.

Beautiful shoes, classy or casual

I bought these for work where I am on my feet all day. I have yet to wear them, as I was in an accident and had to take time off of work, which is why I only gave them 4 stars. I have tried them on multiple times and have worn them around the house trying to decide if I should keep them. Danskos are one of my favorite brands to wear for work due to the comfort and support. These shoes seem to be no exception. The price is a little steep, but I purchased them on sale. I can't wait to get back to work so I can wear them.

Love the Chain Accent

Love these! The chain accent on the top of the shoe makes it look like a more expensive designer shoe. The leather is soft and molds to your foot to help the mules stay on.
