Great shoe. Tried the Dankso Sam (again), but after an hour or so, the top rubs my foot. I love the cushion and cork with a little bit of lift in it. I got the Cayenne (like coral with some red/pink) in it, and it's very comfortable. I wear a 39 in standard Dansko rocker-bottom shoes, but I wear a 38 in any of the suede footbed clogs/Mary Janes (e.g., this one, Rowan). 38 is perfect. Looks great with work pants or jeans. Wore all day and all over the building. Very comfortable and lightweight.

Nice shoes but a note on height and ankle dangers

These shoes have me torn.On one hand, they have great slip-resistance and are pretty comfortable!On the other hand, because there is no ankle support and because they are *heavy and thicker-soled,* THE CHANCES OF YOU FLIPPING/TWISTING YOUR ANKLE ARE VERY HIGH.How do I know this?Let’s put it this way. I would wear these around the house. Carefully. Happily. Cautiously optimistic.Would I wear these much in public or on uneven ground where I could fall and break my body parts off? Like during communion in church, or while traveling, or while going to a family picnic where there is real uneven ground and grass?Perhaps, but with MORE caution.
