Great quality shoe. Leather is soft and feels comfortable on the skin. I like that the strap is velcro, easy to adjust to foot.This was my first pair, wasn't sure about the comfort level and was very surprised how comfortable it actually was. I wanted a shoe with a heel that looked casual under jeans and could double as dressy with my maxi dress. Shoe is flattering no clunky cloggy look here. Before I ordered I went to another store and tried on the brand. Size 9.5 - 10 US or 40 European would be my normal size but went down to a 39 because it seemed a better fit with the open toe. I have since bought another Dansko because of the quality the look and comfort!

I have several pairs of Danskos but these are now my favorite. I wear a 9 typically and the 39 fits perfectly. The leather across the toes rubbed a little on one foot the first day I wore them but I had walked two miles in them right out of the box. Very comfortable overall. Less chunky than most Danskos, which is a plus since I have small bones and thin ankles.

I paid full price for these, so if you are looking at a markdown price, get them! I was looking for a closed toe shoe and these were on display at the store I got them from. Slipped on the display while I was waiting for my size in the other Danskos I also bought-in 2 colors. ( they really make good shoes) So glad I tried these! They fit me perfectly. No rubbing. Love the Velcro strap that doesn’t look like a Velcro strap. I’ve seen mixed reviews on the fit. These need to be tried on. If they fit your foot, they really feel good. I did go down a size from my normal size in Danskos. I have a medium width foot with a low arch.
