Fabulous sandals. Comfortable and stylish!

I purchased these Dansko sandals because I broke my metatarsal this spring and when I returned to work after finally getting the immobilizer boot off, it KILLED my foot to wear regular (non-orthotic) sandals. I have 2 pairs of Danskos and thought that of these had a similar foot bed, it would not be as painful to wear sandals. I was right! I can wear these all day! I can walk all over campus at work and I have no foot pain at the end of the day. I have flat feet, and the arches in the bed are just right.

Fits true to size, looks cute, feels great! I bought this specifically for the velcro closure. I know some people hate it, but I personally don't like buckle closures on shoes as they are a faff to do when you are in a hurry, plus you are limited by the hole placement. Time will tell how this closure will wear.

Beautiful but not for me

I really liked the style and heel height of these sandals because I do not know how to walk properly I heels. However, the material was a bit tough with no give around my toes so I returned them. Now, I do have very wide feet and they were not tight on my feet. They were just a hard leather material and I didn't want to chance them being painful after a few minutes of wear. I wore them for about 10 minutes around my home on wood flooring and the material just didn't have much give around my toe area. Maybe it would have stretched a bit or softened over time but for the steep price of these sandals I didn't want to wait to find out. They really are beautiful though. Maybe just made for people with slender feet.

Super Cute With One Major Design Flaw

Very cute and comfortable. I am apparently blind though because I thought these had a buckle, but they are hook and loop, which in my experience is not very secure and loses its "stickiness" quickly. I feel like if I pay over $100 for a pair of shoes, they should have a real buckle. I am going to keep them and see if they last longer than my previous hook and loop closure sandals have, and will update later. If they'd had a real buckle they would have been 5 stars straight out of the box.
