Confortable shoes but order your usual size!

I ordered my usual shoe size size translated to the European shoe size. I originally followed the Rufus recommendation to size down, but they didn’t fit so I ordered the correct size and they are comfortable and fit! The bad thing was that the vendor is separate from Amazon and charged me return shipping even though the Amazon site said free returns on shoes and clothing.

These shoes are comfortable & I really wanted to love them but the left was just a little too snug over my bunion & the right heel slipped quite a bit. I don't blame the shoes I have weird feet. The quality & support offered are excellent. Overall a very good shoe. Sadly I had to return them.

Excellent Comfort and Design

Dansko never disappoints. Excellent classic design. Quality leather with comfort and sturdy support without feeling stiff. In a Clark's shoe, I have to go with a wide width and even then, the width is tight or may not fit and crowds the toe box. With Dansko I can buy a regular medium width and not have to break them in. Roomy in the toe box which is how you are supposed to wear your shoes. This is my second pair to save as backup. By the time I wear out the first pair, I won't be able to find these so I always buy two of a design I like. Size was listed as 8.5-9 and the European size is 39 which fits me perfect. I usually wear an 8.5 medium in most shoes.

decent for wearing but heel slips while walking

Update: not comfortable and not enough support. will probably end up donating them.I like the fit, except the heel doesn't have a capped edge so my heel slips. I had to buy heel stickers to insert in the shoes to prevent heel slip, but it isn't actually helping as well as I had hoped.The material is decent quality for how shoes are made nowadays and the arch support is slightly better than average, although an insert would help but since the heel doesn't have a capped edge adding an insert would make the slipping worse.If I had tried them on at a store I would not hsve bought them but they are good enough for now.I probably would have kept trying on other shoes and pick something else.If you aren't doing much walking and are just sitting in an office they are acceptable.
