Cute shoes

I really like these, but wanted to love them. They are comfortable and supportive. Problem is they really need an ankle strap. The Velcro adjustments on all the foot straps helps, but my feet still wanted to project inward off the shoe a bit. Good way to twist an ankle! I wore them but only for a couple hours. If I had to do much walking I’d wear a different shoe altogether. Size was great, long enough and wide enough.

They align your gait, adjustable and comfortable! Perfect shoe!

These shoes are sturdy, supportive, adjustable and pretty! Great arch support and the footbed is molded to cradle and keep your feet aligned, which help keep your knees aligned and, in turn, your hips are aligned. This is particularly important for me and the reason for my purchase. I would normally have to wear orthotics. Fitting orthotics into cute summer shoes was nearly impossible. My alignment, or lack thereof, has caused me a lot of pain. These shoes correct the problem without added orthotics. In my case, I'd say by 90-95%. There is about a 1/4" wide by 1/8" worn spot on my sole. I would normally wear out 1/2 the bottom of my soles, so this is quite an improvement for a shoe without orthotics.I normally fit into a US size 8. My European size is 39 (from past purchases of many different brands). I have about a 1/2 inch from the end of my foot to the end of the shoe to spare. The straps are velcro adjustable which I love because some days my feet feel swollen and achy and some days they don't. With adjustable straps, my shoes do not have to add to the pain. They are "light" on your feet and do not make the "clunking" noise when you walk. In other words, they are "walking into church late friendly"! I have been wearing these shoes just about every day since I received them, about 50 days, and if I wash the soles you would think they are brand new, never worn.Well worth the money!

Another Dansko delight. Just watch the sizing.

I bought these in the perfect shade of red. The comfort and quality lives up to the Dansko brand I came to know and love long ago.The only caveat: the sizing is…quirky. No, downright confusing. It’s been quite a while since my last Dansko purchase, but I think I would have remembered this half-to full size range situation.I normally wear a size 7 US or 38 UK. Occasionally I can wear a 6.5 if the shoe runs large or wide. Since it was a open slide as opposed to a closed toe shoe, I rolled the dice and ordered the 6.5-7. They fit, but only just. I can’t help wondering how the 7.5-8 would fit.If you have even a scintilla of doubt for any reason: slightly wider feet, longer toes, bunions or anything of the kind, definitely size up.
