I love these shoes - dressy enough for church and comfy enough for walking around town (and I like to walk a mile or two to do errands around town). The leather is sturdy, but I didn't find them stiff or hard. Didn't need to break them in. I know the brand for years, so I trust the fit and comfort. Supportive, too.
As other reviewers stated, sized large. I own several pairs of Dansko, some are a 40 and others a 39, depending on the style. I ordered a 39 in these, and they are sized at a 40, too big in this style for me. The insole in these 39s measure exactly the same against my 40s. Beautiful, comfortable shoes but retuning. I'd try the 38, but I got these on sale, and are full price in that size.
Very happy with these shoes. They do run a bit large but that will not be a problem when worn with lightweight socks. Love the easy close tab. They are very supportive and comfortable. After wearing them all day, my feet don't hurt at the end of a day. They are also available in brown and will be my next purchase. I recommend these shoes.
I like the style but not comfortable
Pretty comfy but … when you adjust the strap it causes a pooch that looks weird … so really you can’t adjust
Super comfortable and nice looking on. There is a little squeak when I walk but I think it’s from the removable footbed and will likely go away once I start wearing them. I’m a size 9 with bunions on one foot. I went with size 39 and it fixes perfectly with plenty of room in the toe box. The slight hidden wedge heel is comfortable and makes theses a little dressier.
I usually wear a size 39 in dansko shoes but this style is way too big and long. I had to return them.
